What happened to coach Parsons. Didnt she coach the KY Jr All stars?

Is the Cann girl that plays for Anderson his daughter? If so is she going to LCA with him?

Not being familiar with the Cooper program other than seeing them once a year, how attractive is the job? Meaning how much talent is coming back, or younger talent in the middle grades?

I agree with most of what you saw. It was equally bad both ways and I am not from either school. It about cost Collins also with the carry on wells that no one saw.

Congrats on a fantastic season. The Gateway is a real nice tourny with top notch competition. Couple bad breaks for GC. Lost 2 starters and were still able to get to the region then I hear their top guns came down with a stomach bug on game day on top of a cold shooting night. With that being said Congrats to Oldham. They have tweaked their lineup and are much improved. Congrats to their players and staff. Their size gave GC issues and Gallatin couldnt throw it in the ocean from anywhere including at least 5 layups I counted when I arrived there. Looked like 3 were guarding the PG Dossett but to her credit she battled the whole game on both ends. Also congrats to Hignite on a nice career. Good kid!

After watching the first two nights of the girls regional the 6th region players and coaches are who we should feel sorry for that deal with these "top"officials every night. Incredibly inconsistent and going out of region holds them to no accountability or effort for the most part. On top of that no clue what walks and carries are.

In reading your past post RCC9 I agree with you. I think you and FBD are talking about 2 different things. I agree if kids have not played freshmen all year you dont move them down to win the freshmen tournament. I also agree and hate it when teams move players down who havent played all year and then play at district and take the spots of kids who have started or have got playing time all year. I think what happened in FBD's situation at Gallatin is as a small school they only had 5 total freshmen and had to bring three 7th graders up to play freshmen. THe player that got hurt played all year to develop her game and be more than just a role player and then was hurt in the freshmen district. The kid wanted to play in the district badly and was devastated when it was proposed she didnt. Though the district is meaningless to some of us it wasnt to this kid or her team. Obviously in hindsight the coaches should of made the kid sit out their only freshmen district.

Get your info right Moone. The kid played every freshmen game and all JV games up unil the class A. Talking to the coaches they would rather the kid not play but it devastated the kid. Didnt see this one but saw GC in region final and the state. No shame in having trouble guarding them. Their spacing, shooting and pick and rolls with the 2 Dossetts is devastating. If you switch they expose mis matches, if you dont they attack and if you hedge they burn you on the roller. Lastly if you sag they bomb 3s. At least thats what I saw and the other 3 can hit open shots and attack the goal with quickness. So as Mack said alot of teams will have this issue.

It was closer. Teams were tied the majority of the first half. SK took a 2 pt lead into halftime. After that game was 6 to 8 with GC fouling and gambling at the end to get the ball resulting in the 14 pts. Gc looked fatigued and flat. SK is a very nice team that is very good defensively and crashes the boards hard.

Monore should not be on there. They got drilled by Owensboro Catholic. I would replace them with Gallatin Co.

They are now benefiting from a brutal early schedule with a young team. I still feel they win their district and could prove a tough out depending on the draw.

Depends if you are rating right now or at the end of the year. If you are rating right now GC should be ahead of WV at 3. I agree Coach Higdon has done a good job but I still say Owen at 5. Also thing Shelby is to high. May flip them with Trimble or Collins.

I am surprised by the margin of victory considering Wv is without Sandlin. I know they played a tough game last night but I would of guessed my Pioneers by 20. I did think SK was very physical and agressive on the boards. Good luck to both.

Yes when she was hurt at the A I know Coach Roberts was upset for the kid. I read a article in the enquirer where she had come on an been averaging aroun 10ppg 9 rpb and 5 steals along with hustle an a physical presence, an best athlete. That is tough to lose especially playing so soon after she goes out in the all A.
