Final from Union. Cooper 60 Boone Cty 47

First-ever district win for Cooper. Congrats to the girls and the new head coach.

Congrats to the Lady Jags

Very proud of the cooper girls. They have worked very hard and it was nice to see them be rewarded with a district win. Congrats ladies!

Wow any details. Congrats to Cooper.

Wow any details. Congrats to Cooper.

Boone came out with a press defense from the start and Cooper had no problem breaking the press for a lot of easy back door cuts for layups. Boone never could slow Cooper down and Cooper was hitting shots from all over. They really played well.

Boone's Sadie Moore had her best game of the year, not sure on how many pts in total but had something like the first 10 of Boones 14 or something like that. Boone did get it down to a 2 or 3 point game at one point but Cooper would then go on a 8 pt run and keep it around 10 points the rest of the way.

The officiating was horrid unfortunatley on both sides. Never seen so many traveling non calls all year. It was pretty bad.

Congrats to the Jags!! Those kids have worked hard to get to this.

Very impressive for the Lady Jags when you consider the coaching turbulence this week.

Congrats to the lady jags and the entire Cooper coaching staff! We are Cooper!

And the PA announcer made a point to make that announcement while Boone Coach Fookes was standing at the table. Sort of made me chuckle.

Congrats to the Lady Jags and coaches. Well deserved win. I also thought there was a great turnout of fans to support the girls in getting their first district win. Sweet getting the win against a great coach like Coach Fookes.

Yes congratulations to the Lady Jags!

Great win for Lady Jags - Nice win against a great coach - Nell's team never quit - Jags wanted it more
