Seedlings are up. #1 Conner. #2 Ryle. #3 Cooper. #4 BC I think Cooper is on the upswing and can take Ryle. Last time they played was right after the coaching change. The girls are playing pretty well and are super motivated for a district win and move on to regionals. Good luck lady jags!

Well Ryle took down "the red hot boone county", so I am thinking 0-3 for BC. Nothing is a lock though, but I don't see BC beating Conner. So that would pair up my lady jags with Ryle.

If it goes down tonight like it should, Ryle should be 2-1. So that sets up a rematch of Ryle and Copper. That was Coopers worst District game. Where does Heritage fall in to this since they wouldn't play any District games? Congrats to Conner tonight. My Lady Jags played hard, but just didn't have it all. Not having a solid post inside hurts when they play against a team that has a dominant post play. Good luck to both teams moving forward!

He is done for the year. To answer your question it is good and bad. Bad because the girls liked him and bought into his system. Good because he didn't go very deep into the bench and now more girls might get a chance to play. He was a nice guy and seemed to know his game, but I think people question his rotations and substitutes. Good luck to him none the less. The lady jags will be fine. We are Cooper!

#21 is Sadie Moore. She did play at Cooper last year as a freshmen. She is a good player and will only get better. Too bad she left Cooper, but unfortunately, things happen.

The Lady Jags dominated this game from start to finish. Great ball pressure and great teamwork on offense. They were close to 4 girls in double figures. They are 6-2 now. Highlands is next and will be a test of where this team is at. We are Cooper!!!!!!!

Great team win by the Jags last night! Good to see the football players back! I think Coach Sullivan has a great group to make a great run if they can stay healthy. I was impressed with the way they played tonight. It will take the football players a little time to get back into basketball shape. Coach Sullivan is right, the days of being "little Cooper" are over! We are Cooper!!!!!!!!

I don't know the score of the Dixie/Cooper game, but Cooper over St. Henry was 51-41.

Congrats to the Lady Jags for beating Dixie at their place on Satuday. They were without leading scorer Thompson who went to the Cooper Football State Championship team. I don't have stats, but I heard the girls played great together. Considering how small the Lady Jags are, they must have done good on the Dixie big girl. 2-1 is a great start to the season. Almost a 1/3 of the way to last years win total. We are Cooper!!!!!!!!

I was at the pep rally for the Cooper boys football team that is going to state and missed the game, but congrats to my Lady Jags for the win over St. Henry in the Dixie Heights Tournament. Good luck today as you play Dixie Heights. I will be at the football game, but keep playing hard. Congrats to the new coaching staff on there first victory! We are Cooper!!!!!!

Holmes is going to be VERY GOOD when those two return. #10 for them now is pretty tough.

I think the girls from Cooper played hard for the new coach. I think they teach pressure defense and quicker play. They looked like a team tonight and played together. They didn't get any favors from the refs (Holmes shot close to 35-40 FT's and Cooper was under 20). But they still played sloppy, but played hard. No shame there. This was by far the best game of the night. The other two were blow out city. It hurt Cooper to lose their PG when she was elbowed in the face (no foul called) and then had 3 starters foul out. The foul outs are something that they can learn from. Again, they played hard. Good luck to both teams as they start their seasons off. Both have talent on their rosters!

We will see. The other teams are good, but I think District 33 is weaker than people are realizing. I hope my Lady Jags prove people wrong. And 32, you don't know respect, so don't even try to jump into the conversation.
