Also playing well for the Lady Cougars was Emily Pluto who chipped in with 11 points and played an excellent floor game at both ends of the court. Good question! I'm not so sure Ryle is a lock tonight. I would actually go with Boone if I was a betting man. I was much more impressed with the way they play and have been playing lately.

Conner beat Boone in the Conner Christmas Tourney. Does this count as an official District win? If not, Conner is only 2-0 in District play, but face Boone next Wednesday night.

Wow! So that means that Boone is really only 0-1 then. Depending on the Boone/Ryle outcome, that could be an interesting game too.

Yes you cant go by the KHSAA webpage. Any extra games throughout the year does not count. Only the regular season games count towards District. Which means Conner is only 2-0 in the District and Boone is 0-1. That Conner Tournament doesnt count towards the District record.

Well this gets interesting then. If Conner takes care of business with Boone, then it kinda sets the stage. But if Boone stays hot and runs the distirct table the rest of the way, it really starts to make up for a kinda down season for Boone.

 

And if I'm not mistaken, because of the HHS/NCC matchup in the first round of their districts and one of them will be eliminated, the winner of this district probably has the easiest path thru the region, if you believe the higher ranked team would win the matchups that would be in front of them.
