Final from Walton. SK definitely showed the effects of an emotional game at NDA yesterday, but they had enough to beat the Wildcats on their home floor. Owings along with Tomlin were the heroes of this game. SK's bigs looked tanked.

Coach Klinkenbeard took what I thought was a brilliant technical. SK was on a 3 on 1 break when he took the T. SK had all kinds of momentum and was headed towards breaking it open. After the T , Walton stayed in the game the rest of the way.

Did the officials stop the break or wait until after to T him up?

Officials stopped the break.

Officials stopped the break.

Was the break already past midcourt? Or was it still in the backcourt?

Two seconds from a score.

Oooh. Mistake by the official. Let the basket go and then whack appropriately.

Anyone have the SK girls Frosh, JV, and Varsity records? It seems like the Lady Pioneers are having a good year on all levels.

Is it still a mistake by the ref to stop play when the coach went out on the floor and got in the refs face? I think the Coach was determined to get a technical. And yes, it was smart on his part.

Walton hung tough and had their chances to cut into the lead but too many turnovers hurt them. Owings played a great game and made several clutch baskets and free throws. Congrats to the Pioneers.

Did Walton change their name from Bearcats to Wildcats?

Can a mod correct my error please? Thanks!

The difference in this game is the last three minutes in the first half. Judy comes out down two and SK goes on a 8 - 0 run. As for the "T" they had not crossed half court. He was coming out on the floor as soon as the offical did not call the foul.

I am surprised by the margin of victory considering Wv is without Sandlin.

I know they played a tough game last night but I would of guessed my Pioneers by 20.

I did think SK was very physical and agressive on the boards. Good luck to both.

Freshman has two losses, JV is undefeated, Varsity is 18-3 I believe. The Pioneers are talented on all levels.
