It was closer. Teams were tied the majority of the first half. SK took a 2 pt lead into halftime. After that game was 6 to 8 with GC fouling and gambling at the end to get the ball

resulting in the 14 pts. Gc looked fatigued and flat. SK is a very nice team that is very good defensively and crashes the boards hard.

I was not able to make this game, but the report I got was that the guards improved their post entry passes and there was some post scoring. There is still work to be done on post offense, but this does represent progress.

I just looked at the rest of SK's schedule. SK was at Connor, at Boone, and at NDA. Now , they have NCC and Highlands on the road as well. More opportunities to work on post offense in hostile environments before regionals! The one saving grace, NCC and Highlands play in the first round of district meaning one of those teams season is going end quickly. I don't think either of these teams will be focusing on SK!

WOW! A real good team will not be playing in the 9th Region tournament.

They must have random seeding in that district. No reward for regular season performance.

It is what I have been saying, Ky playoff system gives no credit to good teams for great seasons. Happened to Conner last year. I think the Basketball playoff system needs to be evaluated and provide an opportunity to reward good play throughout the season and possibly give more teams than one to win a chance to win a championship.
