I'm glad this game wasn't played. The thread couldn't have been as entertaining. I will give Clark a pass for cancelling based on the forecast. If they were offered to make this up Sunday afternoon and said no then I am calling shenanigans on the weather excuse. Why would they choose not to make it up on Sunday if the forecast is sun and no snow?

This sounds strange considering they were down 69-29 after 3 quarters Saturday night at Holmes. I wouldn't put much stock in this win over Cov Cath. Cov Cath is just not a very good team.

I was there it was an awful call. She clearly had the last dunk on her mind which the hanging on the rim was a little excessive. This one was not and she couldn't blow the whistle fast enough. You could almost hear the whistle start as he was going up for the dunk.

Holmes played very well tonight. They pushed the tempo and passed the ball on the interior very well for a ton of easy layups and dunks. Pittman probably was only on the floor 14-15 minutes for his 18 points. I hope this trend continues of playing more up tempo as they get a lot of easy scores.

I asked my wife at my son's game the other day why the cheerleaders only seem to be at 1 out of 4 home games. She said they only cheer competitions and they cheer at the girls games. The only time they cheer the boys game is when the girls play before and they decide to stick around. I said they makes perfect sense. I don't even think they do routines on the floor anymore.

They should pay you to watch a soccer game not charge you.

I'm guessing they don't play any good old boy Texas football schools. I would guess those boys wouldn't take too kindly to the beatings being administered. I am surprised we haven't heard of any hard fouls,fights,etc. from the teams that are getting hammered.

This was a very exciting game with both teams shooting the ball very well. There may not have been a free throw missed in this game if there was there was not more than 1 or 2 out of probably 20-25 FT's. Conner led 40-30 at halftime and New Cath had the lead by 3 with about 1 minute left. Kunkel for Conner made a big 3 point play to tie it. New Cath had the ball with 15-20 seconds left and tried to hold for the last shot. Fogle for Conner stole it from # 12 for New Cath ( who is a fantastic player who had 27 points) near half court and made the game winning layup as time expired.

Wasn't at this game but was told that the defense for both teams took the night off.

I agree. He is already very good with a very high basketball IQ. You can tell he has played thousands of basketball games. Hopefully he finds his way back to Covington soon.

I'm showing 90-101 midway through his 7th season. Not sure where you got 100 wins in 10 years.
