GRC travels to Mason County on Friday night for a big regional contest. Keep it civil this time. GRC coming off of two losses this week and Mason County coming off of a big win. It looks like GRC will be without Stenzel for this game.

Mason Co. 65-63.

If Stenzel doesn't play, I like the Royals. You take away and team's primary ball handler and you'll see them struggle.

Cards lack of depth will catch up with them tomorrow night.

Mason Co: 59

Clark Co: 56

Agree on both parts.

I'm assuming Stenzel will not play.

Clark shocks the state and beats Mason by 5 without Robbie.

I have seen teams rally around a fallen teamate. When Mason was having injuries a little unknown by the way of Bluford stepped up his game.

A good example of this in the college game was where Tennessee had all those guys suspended and ended up beating then #1 Kansas. Anything can happen in sports! :ylsuper:

Clark is ranked 3rd in Cantrall, Mason is 29th. Clark is ranked 4th in Lit, Mason County is 28th.

Sometimes it's fun to play "X degrees of separation". Clark over Harrison by 57, Harrison by 14 over Pendleton, Pendleton by 3 over Campbell, Campbell by 6 over Mason. By that logic:D, Clark is 80 points better than Mason.

Throw in the factoid that Mason often underperforms at the HCA Fieldhouse, and we have the recipe for a blowout of biblical proportions.

And when rivals get together... rankings become just someones opinion!

But as you told me before, in the Ashland thread, it is all about the matchups.

You can't be serious about Mason underperforms at the fieldhouse.

Is there a chance this game will be postponed? Sounds like a pretty rough forecast for Maysville tomorrow.

We can only hope!:thumb:

Robbie is by far the piston in GRC's engine. The rest of the team ain't too shabby! They didn't get the ranking they got on Robbie's play alone. These boy's can play with the best of the state and Mason will have to do more than they have been to beat this team even without their floor general!

CLARK WILL CRUISE BY 10 :ylsuper:

I have been watching the forcasts too. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

On the bolded, yes it is. Hence the smiley in the post.:D

On the home court performance, a quick review of the results will verify that point. Last five home games:

Holmes 53 Mason County 47

Campbell County 59, Mason County 53

Mason County 62 Pendleton County 57

Mason County 58 Ashland 54

Mason County 49 Henry Clay 30

Royals average 54 points per game at home, slightly less than on the road.

I've seen all the home games. They've struggled mightily at the HCA Fieldhouse.
