Why?

I'm assuming isthatallyougot is a GRC fan and is hoping for as much time as possible for Stenzel to get healthy again, but that is just a guess. I heard today that they are calling his injury a high ankle sprain, but that was just a rumor. I still see Clark by 10-15 UNLESS they just come in sleepwalking.

Why?

:idunno:We have injuries also are starting center is out for the season Tyler Black,Pawsat and Harris are just starting to play again..:idunno:

No disrespect to the above players mentioned, but they aren't the best player in the region.

Nope but injuries are part of the game(I wish robbie a quick recoverey)but if its a high ankle sprain as reported could cause trouble for him the rest of the year..

Indeed they are. Unfortunately, GRC ( and now Mason co. this year) understands far too much about injuries. I hope all players on each of these teams are able to recover as much as possible which would set up for a very entertaining post season. :thumb:

The reason I was asking is because in the next post, the prediction was Clark by 10. So I could only assume that the wish for bad weather for Maysville had nothing to do with the game.

Most of us do understand that injuries come with the territory, and that you simply lace 'em up with who you've got. To do any less is to disrespect the players that you do have that are playing their rear ends off.

Disagree with this. Letting posters know of injuries, is also part of the game and in no way is disrespecting the players that fill in for the injured player.

Lace them up and play the game and may the best team win with what they have. Injuries are part of the game and whether a kid is injury free is unpredictable anytime they do lace them up. Excuses on yes we are better at this time or not as good at this time is hogwash and yes if Robbie Stenzels injury is bigger than the game itself, it is a disrespect to the kids that will actually play the game!

It is so easy for us as adults to make statements of "lace them up and play with what you have" and "disrespecting the rest of the team", but injuries can affect an entire team especially when it is a major component of the team no matter what sport it is. Sometimes a team rallies around an injury and sometimes it disheartens a team to the point that it cannot compete. Injuries are a part of the game and it can affect the outcome. The title of this thread is GRC/Mason County predictions and with the knowledge that GRC will be without the services of Robbie Stenzel, make your prediction.

With that being said, without Robbie's leadership I beleive Mason County by 4.

I have been wondering about this. Who determines whether a game is played; the home team, the traveling team, or a mutual agreement?

Generally the traveling team makes the decision as to whether they can travel and the school district director of transportation is also consulted and would likely have input.

All reports indicated that we were supposed to have a mess on our hands starting at 4 am this morning, and looking at the radar it is all rain right now but depending on the temperatures that could change. I was just thinking I am in the wrong profession. The weather man/woman are the only people that can be wrong yet still keep their jobs.
