wow, this is good stuff here! I personally don't think Mason had a prayer anyway but that is just me! The safety of the players is number 1 priority, and Mason should want to beat a healthy GRC not part of the team! You will get your chance to see the 10th region's best Mason County, be careful what you ask for though!

Wow, is right! If Mason did not have a prayer that should be even more reason Clark would be ready to come to Maysville. Safety is the upmost but the weather forecasts Maysville was only rain until late. Mt Sterling must have different weather forecasters than Winchester. I believe the only thing Mason asked for was for Clark to show up and play their scheduled game. Nothing more mothing less.

A little birdy flew through the rain and told me Clark was offered a make up date on Sunday afternoon but that was also turned down.

The KHSAA has our enrollment number wrong.

It is closer to 388 (9-12)

Looks to me like the KHSAA has the girls outnumbering the boys by about 2-1; maybe that's where the problem lies.

Well, it is only supposed to be 29 degrees on Sunday. Sunny, but 29.

And you would for sure know,Thanks for the info...Looks like that ankle won't be ready by Sunday..If true this is very disappointing and makes a bad situation look at lot worse..By the way still 37 and rain in Maysville at 11:30...

Could you imagine the crowd also for both sides on a Sunday would be hugh...

Anyway, we've wandered off track. And I feel, in some very small way, part of the reason. As fun as this has been, let's get back to the prediction.

Hopefully the game will get rescheduled and we can all get what we wanted in the first place - a game between two quality teams and programs.

Question - how does rescheduling take place? Do the ADs get on the phone or the net and have a conversation? If there is an open date for both teams, but one school or the other doesn't like it (for example, Team A plays on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday and Team B plays on Tuesday and Saturday; Team A says "that's 4 games in 5 days if we reschedule for Wednesday and we don't want to go there"), does the game get scrapped? I really don't know how it works.

If this be the case the team that backed out to play originally when there was no snow should have to buy the game out from the other team since they would loose a home game,That would stop the none sense of backing out for no reason ...

Some of you all are unreal! People don't care about what the weather is now, it's the forecast! In case some forgot, there is a winter storm warning that area, it's better to be safe than sorry.

And the forcast for Maysville all long has called for Rain to change to snow in middle of the night after midnight..I dont see how that would affect this game at 7:30 sorry..Like i said still 37 and rain here 11:43 PM ..

Let's assume that Mustang's estimate of 388 students at Brossart is correct - and I have no reason to doubt him. Let's play with the numbers and calculate projected regional tournaments won from 2000-2009 purely as a function of current enrollment by some of the schools. I must emphasize that there is NOTHING scientific about this - just an exercise in elementary mathematics.

Simple formula: School enrollment divided by regional enrollment times 10 (Scott only multiplied by 4; only in Region 10 from 2006 season on).

Clark County: 1.56 projected, 1 win

Campbell County: 1.36 projected, 1 win

Montgomery County: 1.17 projected, 0 win

Scott: 0.39 projected, 0 win

Harrison County: 0.89 projected, 0 win

Pendleton County: 0.83 projected, 1 win

Bourbon County: 0.77 projected, 0 win

Mason County: 0.73 projected, 6 wins

Bishop Brossart: 0.36 projected, 1 win

Like I said, there was a winter storm warning! I don't care what the weather is at the time they decided, or now, the system could move faster and the bad weather would come sooner. Each school makes their own decisions concerning the safety of their students.

Fair enough, but I predict it don't get made up for at least 2 weeks if at all, If you know what I mean...:puke:

I don't see any storm warnings for Sunday.

Maybe the blinding sun that is being forecast is a safety concern.

:laugh::popcorn: The Sun shining into the snow can be bright and lead to a traffic hazard...
