Too bad. I guess it was just impossible to honor the game on the schedule. Inclement weather, college visits. There are probably a couple more open dates, but I'm guessing someone probably has a haircut scheduled.

Looks like it's almost time to put this thread to bed, as it is becoming rather obvious that the regular-season game ain't gonna happen.

Maybe they didn't want to miss the opening of 'Dear John' on Friday night.:idunno::deadhorse:

I would say a case of little brother saving big brother some embarrassment!

A car and a bus are two different vehicles, don't make a fool of yourself. :thumb:

Man, it was a tonge in cheek comment that I thought most people would get and not take real seriously but maybe not. Oh wait...I am putting on my championship ring as I type this. I hope I did not make a fool out of myself.:thumb::thumb::thumb:

It's alright, I've got a Region Championship plaque from 07' which I guarantee you don't have. :thumb: But, the championship ring is mighty impressive as well. :ylsuper:

Please, you guys are cracking me up. You honestly think GRC was afraid to play this game? I'll definitely keep this thread in the back of my mind for early March and we'll see who's getting the last laugh. And yes, I'm that confident and I'll make the statement and go out on a limb here. Barring any huge injuries keeping players out of post season games, GRC WILL win the 10th region. No upsets this year guys, GRC won't blow another championship game. :thumb:

A couple huge injuries kept them from coming to Maysville Friday night.I promise you ,if Robbie and Cory had been healthy, they would have followed a salt truck to Maysville if they had to.I also promise you,if it had been an away game for the Royals Friday night, and with all the injuries they have, the game would have been played. You can say what you want, but most know why this game wasn't played Friday night. In my mind I to,think Clark Co is the better of the 2 teams. But I think the games in March,at the Fieldhouse, will be closer than alot of you think.Should Clark Co win it,yes. Will they? We'll see.

Weather report for Maysville KY:

Flooding, due to all the crying of the game being canceled.

This is great right here! Four pages on a game that was never played! I talked to some of the players and they are well aware of what is being said in Maysville! They thought it was comical as well! We will see you at the regional tournament......if you make it!

That's funny right there. Good stuff.:thumb::popcorn:

Equally funny. Good stuff. :laugh::thumb::popcorn:

Doesn't every bodies players graduate eventually?

Every bodies? What does that mean. Yes, everybody's players graduate, but Mason's teams just continue to reload. GRC is usually a one hit wonder that shows up and wins a Regional championship every 17 to 20 years or so.

That is a spell check failure but thanks for noticing. GRC is competitive in many sports besides basketball. I do believe if we just showed up to play every 17 to 20 years we wouldn't be having this conversation. So don't worry KoK we will at least try to rise to the dominant standard Mason has set so high!:ohbrother::lol:

Unlike Mason county, who obviously has their sites set on small accomplishments, I am sure GRC has bigger things in mind than whooping up on Mason county this year. They have the talent to win a state championship and you have to set your sites a little higher than a regular season game sometimes. Sorry guys you just really aren't important this year! At least not important enough to drive into a winter storm warning for!:sssh:

What do you mean by reload?:sssh:

If you are referring to the type of reloading, that I think you are implying, then you need to address that question with the GRC Panthers, I mean Cardinals.

I was hoping all this back and forth ,"I can say more bad things about you than you can me "thing was over. The sad thing, the boys aren't writing these comments, there made by mature thinking adults.
