Mason Co. should be tickled to death they didn't get to play, gives them another chance for excuses and ego trips. The forcast I heard all day long was rain turning to snow around 5-6 o'clock, but then again Mason County doesn't always see or hear things the same as the rest of the State.:notworthy::notworthy::isurrender::popcorn::cry::cry::cry::cry:

Nice post since you are talking about a program who has won six regional championships and two state titles since 2000. By the way, three of those championships Mason defeated Clark in the finals. That is what we do here at Mason is look for excuses not to play teams. I don't understand how Clark, who has a good team, can be so sure of themselves that they can just come to the Fieldhouse and roll Mason County.

Probably a good call by the Transportation Adm. They could have played but no one knew that at 3 PM. You have to make the decision depending on the weather forcast. More than likely, nothing would have been said if Clark had been playing anyone else besides Mason Co. I can understand both sides, bad roads putting kids lives in danger on the slick highways and Mason Co losing revenue from the game.

So just how disappointed will you be when you get beat?:idunno:We have nothing to loose here were not suppose to win were ranked liked 30th your 6th I mean hey if we loose were supposed to right if we win then its a major upset..

Not according to the Cats Pause preseason prediction. Mason Co ranked #1 in region and will win the region reguardless of the rankings.

I'm glad this game wasn't played. The thread couldn't have been as entertaining. I will give Clark a pass for cancelling based on the forecast. If they were offered to make this up Sunday afternoon and said no then I am calling shenanigans on the weather excuse. Why would they choose not to make it up on Sunday if the forecast is sun and no snow?

I would say making us travel on Super Bowl Sunday would be expecting SEVERE dedication from fans and probably not realistic. On the other hand if your star player was hurt and you could give him time to heal before you played a regional rival would you not opt to take the time to get him healthy? If you say no you are either a liar or not very competitive and don't care if you win or not!

WOW 3 pages on a missed game.....I love a good rivalry! :dancingpa vs. :dancingpa = :ylsuper:

We have a winner!

We have a winner!

Anyone who thinks GRC is beatable by an average team even without Stenzil is drinking tainted kool-aid or hasn't seen this team play! Like I said before, be careful what you ask for cause you may get it! :sssh:

I don't see any storm warnings for Sunday.

Maybe the blinding sun that is being forecast is a safety concern.

Maybe we can get that blinding sun forecast changed to just a gentle gold sun:popcorn: and then possibly GRC makes the trip. My prediction is this late in the season this one doesn't get made up.l

I'm hearing through the grapevine that Robbie isn't the only Cardinal that's not close to 100 percent. Can someone closer to the program shed any light on this?
