Very fun game to watch. Both teams played hard but Simon just ran out of gas in the OT.

What was the score after regulation?

I believe it was 58 - 58.

19 points in OT is large, I'm assuming DH wore out the stripe in the extra period.

SK got down and had to foul. Dixie hit a lot of free throws and SK missed a lot of shots.

Both teams were in double bonus in the 4th and Sorrell hit to free throws with 5 seconds left to send it into OT.

Hatton goes off for 34 with 7 three's. Nice game for the youngster.

Somebody better clue SK that Hatton has been a great shooter since 2nd grade. Let's face it anytime an 8th grader drops 34 on you it has to be disheartening for a coach. Nice win for Dixie and it looks like Hatton has come into his own finaly.

This was an enjoyable one! Hatton was unstoppable in the second half. I believe he had 6 in the first half and 28 after that. The whole Dixie squad had a really nice game and they were playing much better together. SK double teamed the Hatton kid the whole fourth quarter and o/t. Pike and Raleigh both had nice games as well. Sorrell for SK is a great ball player as well. SK ran out of steam in o/t only scoring five to Dixie's 19.

This kid doesnt even compare to an 8th grader. He's the real deal and he dropped 34 with ease last night. He was the best scorer on the floor hands down, When Hatton, Pike, and Trammel are on the Floor this team is gonna be able to put up some number.

Congrats Dixie:dancingpa

Great pics D-Series This is a good recap of how well Hatton played, if you weren't there to see it.

He definitely didnt need to be held back in the 6th grade that is for sure.

That is for sure.

well he was not held back for sports he was strickly held back because of his age, his parents did not want him to graduate at 17. who wants to send there kids away to college just barely turning 18. I know i was scared to death going out of town to college at 19 yrs old and his parents thought that the extra year would help him mature and be ready to go away for school and personally i think it is a great idea to give kids that extra year to mature both athletically and personaly for all kids.
