Every time I've seen a thread about this guy you've been in it complaining. I don't know anything about Jude or his school, but I'm happy for him. He didn't cheat to get here and neither did his school. I think it takes an incredible amount of talent to do what he did, no matter who they played. I'm happy for him. You can say you're mad about his coach, or whatever you want, but you're bitter about it. You're bitter about a high school kid breaking a record.

From what I gathered most people were anticipating the iPhone 5 and many of the upgrades and specs had been leaked, so most people had a pretty good idea of what was being announced today. It just seems like there's been a very negative reaction to the 4S label, not necessarily to what the phone brings to the table. I'm in the same boat as you too. I still have the 3GS and I'm going Apple next time around too. I would love to have the 64GB version, but I might settle with the 32GB.

I haven't followed this too closely, but why the rampant disappointment? From what I gather if they had just called the iPhone 4S the iPhone 5 everyone would have been ecstatic.

I'm pretty close to doing it. Outside of sports, the only time I actually sit down in front of the TV is just to surf channels late at night or to keep me occupied if I'm doing something that doesn't require much concentration. Since I live out of market of Cinci I can stream Reds games and with ESPN3 I shouldn't miss much in sports. All of the shows I watch on a regular basis I stream. I'm a Netflix junkie. I think the issue for me is which device to connect to the TV. I don't know much about Roku. I'm thinking about installing a graphics card in a desktop that will allow me to connect to the TV and go that route.

Just picked it up today, haven't had a chance to listen to it. I'm excited, though.

The new Jazmine Sullivan is hard to pass up (as is her debut), even if you aren't a huge fan of R&B. Both albums are phenomenal. I listened to LCD Soundsystem's "This Is Happening" yesterday. It was ok.

I thought it was a great game. Both teams fought hard and in the end the better team won. I couldn't see every penalty from my angle, but those that I did see were blatant. Bickering over the referees is moot anyway. Both fan bases should be proud of their teams and players and Ryle has no reason to feel ashamed. Ryle is well on its way to establishing a powerful program. I expect them to get over that hump sooner than later. While Trinity has no shortage of talented athletes - whether you want to ascribe that to genetic engineering in St. Mathews, their number of boys, private enrollment, more talent in Louisville, whatever - they are better because they have a system that makes them the best. They lose talent every year and always reload, fill the gaps, and adapt to their strengths. They are extremely well coached, disciplined, fired up and focused, and everyone on the team knows their role and executes it. It's a culture and it's a system. For all the eye-rolling about Ryle's development of a feeder program, scheduling tougher competition, community involvement, etc., those are precisely the things they need to be working on to create their own culture and system. I look forward to future Ryle/Trinity matchups and hope the Raiders can add a few to the win column soon. Anyway, congratulations to both teams.

:thumb: I agree. Though, during the Hockman years the offense was quite complicated, yet it garnered about the same results. A nice balance needs to be struck, and I think Ryle has it on the defensive side of the ball, but I don't know if they'll ever get the offense worked out.

Yeah, but I think they are still a good and capable team. And I'll take a district win any day.
