Don't know any specifics, but from what I've heard so far from those at the game Ryle played like they thought they were going to win by just showing up.

I think it's important to note that 10 other players are on the field with Mr. Football. Yes, he will sway a lot of would be losses to wins, but you can't fault them for losing a game.

Sad but true.

That is way different. Wearing a helmet is mandatory. Loafing after a play passes you by isn't. It remains a legal hit. I don't think a rule shoud change based on the location relative to the ball.

Highlands appears to be as advertised. If they find a way to turn those incomplete passes to completions their offense will be very, very scary. Ryle isn't a bad team. I saw flashes of a solid team out there tonight, it was just a matter of putting it together all at once. If they can grease the wheels a little bit and get everything in line I think they can have a very successful year.

Yeah, that's exactly it. They've been throwing a lot more but they've mostly been incomplete, which isn't going to change defensive strategy.

Ryle has to figure out how to consistently pass for decent yardage. Their running game would be very tough to stop if defenses had to respect the pass more.
