The only way Ryle wins is if they found some way of parlaying their season last year into a new attitude and discipline from the first workout through the opening kick off. I think they have the talent and the heart to give Highlands a game, and themselves a chance of winning, but it is just as much mental as it is physical. Ryle has a tradition of coming out of the gate slow anyhow, and I'm not convinced Warner has enough Xs and Os knowledge right now to win against an elite team without a lot of talent. Here's to hoping they put the ball in the air a little more this season.

Yeah we are a bunch of bottom dwelling, no-talent, half-hearted wannabes in Union. Seriously rylepyle, you're embarrassing everyone associated with the school. No one with a pulse really believes Warner is a better coach than Mueller.

Didn't expect this. I thought Ryle would handle it pretty easily based off of their record. Friends at the game said Shelby's pitcher was absolutely awesome. They said he wasn't overpowering but hit spots and knew how to work the batters. Congratulations to Shelby.

It was very close. I didn't even think there was going to be a play and I made no effort to stand up and watch. Very surprised that was an out.

I didn't see the runner come around third as I was watching the ball, but their was a rundown situation and when the the third basemen went to cover the bag he slipped and landed in front of the bag on the home plate side. The ball skipped into the outfield and the left fielder threw home and got the runner at the plate. That was the situation for those who didn't see it.

Excellent game. Very exciting to watch. After the error on Vince that brought in a run a guy in front of me got up and left while saying "I've seen enough." Big mistake. I was on my feet the entire 7th inning. Congratulations to Cov Cath on a great season, looks like they will have a stellar team coming back next year!

It's like that every year. Is the game at 7 or 7:30?

As far as capacity and access, Ryle is great. But the stands are too far from the field and the grass holds up for about a week. Beechwood has an excellent field, but parking isn't fun and seating can be crowded sometimes.

I'm not up to date...who is the current coach and who was the previous coach? What was the purpose of the coaching change and how as that affected the players?
