Yes, teams seemingly always come back to earth after a game like this. Look at Auburn right before we beat them, they killed South Carolina. I hope we come out and just take care of business, I'll take a win by any margin.

I don't want to see coaches getting ridiculed for pulling players a few seconds before the end of game again. It's not bad sportsmanship, it's about player safety.

After watching it several more times, I think the shove is definitely an aggressive move on his part. What we don't know is was it in response to being hit or in anticipation of being ran into. I'll back track on calling those takes trash, as it can definitely be in the eye of the beholder.

It was 29 to 28 Alabama, by the time Alabama could score their next four points the score was 33 to 48 Kentucky. In that 6 minute run the UK defense held Alabama to 4 points while putting up 20 of their own. At 16:41 of the 2nd, Sears hit a 3 to cut the lead to 14 at 54 to 68 Kentucky. By the time Alabama could break 60 points UK had added another 24 to go up 92 to 59. A few minutes later Big Z hit a 3 to make it 104 to 67 at that point the game was basically over. Alabama scored a TON of trash buckets down the stretch as UK was trying to not foul or stop the clock. During the meat of this game when it was still in doubt, UK played very good defense and built a 33 point lead.

I've seen a few hot takes where Filipowski is being accused of trying to trip and shove that student and basically got what he deserved. I think those takes are trash, personally. >> After further review maybe not as trash as I originally thought <<

Hopefully, the knee injury isn't serious. Some say students storming the court/field after a big upset win is just part of the college game and is fine. That there are hardly ever any incidents. So should they be stopped completely, if so, how?

Last game a last second freak play loss on the road there were 50 post in an hour. Tonight a huge win over the #1 team in the conference and just 10 post in three hours. I guess a lot of people still don't have their cell service back yet. 🤷

This game better be great if I'm going all in and getting a PS5 this summer. There are so many things that I want in this game outside of just the basic game play. Things I would love to see, in no order... - Corso Mascot Head segment - Conference realignment allowed - FCS to FBS moves allowed - Create a school - Ability to design plays - All uniform combos available for all schools

If nothing else, just to do the mascot head before big games.

The 24 and 48 cause "The Big One" with around 10 laps to go which takes out 10 or 12 of the top 15 cars. They then go on to win finishing 1st and 2nd under another caution. This is golden boy Rick Hendricks 40th year in NASCAR and all week we heard about the 9 year losing streak in the 500 for his teams. I'm not one that buys into conspiracy theories that so many do...but the 24 and 48 finishing 1st and 2nd seems a bit convenient. Go ahead and write it down, a Hendricks car is going to win the title this year.

It would be cool if they allow teams to switch conferences and FCS schools to move up to FBS. If conference realignment is available, it would be next level AWESOME!!!

I get everyone wants the easy answer and to blame the coach for taking the last shot too early. But what if he has missed? There would have been time to get a rebound and another good shot off or to foul LSU if they rebound the ball and still have a chance for a last second shot. I agree with what Cal said if it's tied you take a last second shot, but if you are down you take it earlier to leave options in case he misses.

Ticker at the bottom of the screen is saying CFP Committee is looking at a 14 team playoff. I guess someone is really wanting the top team to get a bye. I don't understand why not go straight to 16, makes no sense if talking about 14.

This deal is just for two years, I'd be willing to wager that after that it will be 16 teams with no byes. SEC and Big 10 are having meeting this week to basically decide the immediate future of college football. Interested to see what comes out of those meetings.

So it looks like the 6 + 6 playoff model has been replaced by a 5 + 7 model. Meaning the 5 highest ranked conference champions will get automatic bids along with 7 at-large bids. The 4 highest ranked conference champions will all receive a first round bye. I like the 5 + 7 model better with the current state of conferences.

The biggest change with this ruling would be that if the IRS considers them employees, all compensation from the school could be taxed. Free rooms, tuition, books, supplies, tutoring services even some clothing could be taxable income to the IRS. Imagine a third string lineman with no NIL having to pay taxes on his "Full Ride."

Of course it won't be a problem if they pay them. I'm sure the majority of schools that have collectives or a cohesive NIL program are making sure all deals ran that they are aware of are accounted for. They probably have accounts even set up or arranged to help with the tax issues and filing of taxes. The issue will be the player or parent or adviser that takes on side deals on their own and making sure taxes are accounted for on those as well. Think Johnny Manzel signing items in a hotel room for a duffle bag of cash. How many players are going to file a tax return on that money? I hope no one gets in trouble, but I'm willing to bet that at least one school out there will have an issue with multiple players getting in trouble for tax evasion, sooner than later. If we don't see a major tax scandal tied to NIL in the next three years, I will be shocked.
