  1. I don't think he'll be allowed to. The board recommendations specified that current players would not be grandfathered in. If it passes, players going forward will have 5 years of eligibility starting after they turn 19 or graduate High School... whichever comes first.
  2. Muurinen is and has always been a long shot...I don't expect him at all.
  3. C-Dubs that is correct!
  4. You very well could be correct, we'll see.
  5. Several get traded in their last year of control if the team isn't willing to shell out the money to re-sign them. The NBA system is more conductive to players remaining than other sports. I could see that if he continues to grow as a player, a team like LA, NY or Boston (closest to his hometown) could make Dallas a deal that they couldn't refuse. So the fans need to enjoy him.
  6. I agree, not sure what Dynes can bring unless he really develops...a lot!
  7. This guy was one of the best to ever do it, regardless of where he played. I watched him wear out everyone including the US. He'd give buckets to everyone he played and seemed unguardable. For those that don't know... Key Olympic Records and Statistics Total Points: 1,093 (all-time Olympic record). Games Played: 38 (across 5 Olympics: 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996). Highest Average: 42.3 points per game (1988 Seoul Games). Single Game High: 55 points (vs. Spain, 1988). Overall Shooting: 45.4% Field Goal, 41.0% 3-Point, 90.1% Free Throw. Tournament Highlights 1988 Seoul: Led the tournament with 42.3 PPG, including a 55-point game against Spain. 1992 Barcelona: Led the tournament with 24.8 PPG, including 24 points against the USA "Dream Team". 1996 Atlanta: Led the tournament with 27.4 PPG.
  8. After his Rookie Contract...to the highest bidder. To your point, Dallas may make the best sense, if they can build a winner around him.
  9. Moreno struggled at times scoring over height last year, having him to practice against daily could really help.
  10. He was atrocious all day!
  11. I agree, we also need a knock down shooter or two.
  12. Spending most of the 90's in Indiana, this show was a staple on our radios. Like many things the show was much better before it blew up and went national. I've literally pulling off of the road before, because I was laughing too hard to drive. Rest in Peace Bob.
  13. Its a small vocal minority that do things like that at every major school. At this point after seeing so many fake "Fan Pages" on places like Facebook I wonder how many of those pages and post on different sites are even actual fans. Yeah, some fans are jerks...but they are like that at every school as well.
  14. Give props to Bank of America with their ads recreating great moments and using kids.
  15. Rory with a chance to get back to -12 with a birdie putt on 9 and missing, may come back to haunt him.
  16. Big get for the Cards. Congrats!
  17. Joe Tipton reporting that the door is still open for a possible Chandler return to Kentucky. I don't expect it, but you're telling me there is a chance.
  18. Colin Chandler must have got a good offer, he's in the portal now.
  19. They are ready! A guy I've known for over 40 years posted this today and spurred a lively contrails discussion!
