  1. Totally agree, said the same thing about this episode.
  2. UT is fighting for a #1 Seed in the NCAA. If they beat UK and win two games in SEC tournament, I think they get a #1. I expect them to be ready to roll Saturday.
  3. To be fair, you seemed to infer that their athleticism would be enough to win this game.
  4. 2nd guy from the left looks athletic.
  5. Agreed, if he opts in is no news at all. Staying out makes it news and brings more attention to him.
  6. I heard today that well over 80% of players have opted into the game. Arch Manning is a notable player that has chosen not to opt in.
  7. I'm in the minority I guess, the 2 minute warning doesn't bother me. Nothing more exciting than a last minute Touchdown drive. A 2 minute warning gives both offense and defense a chance to reset for the last few pivotal plays that may determine the outcome of the game.
  8. It will be voted on in April, but a few changes proposed for 2024 are... -Helmet Communication like the NFL. It would cut off at 15 seconds on play clock or at snap. -2-minute warning at the end of each half. -Tablets used to watch/review plays in real-time on the sidelines. A limit of 18 for sideline and coaching booth would be in place. Everyone like or dislike these proposals?
  9. I think it came up last year, hasn't the home team struggled to win the region since it started rotating between Lincoln and Pulaski? Home court I don't think has been friendly to either of them.
  10. I'll guarantee it will be Somerset...we've had that kind of luck all season.
  11. Beard would be the best coach of that group, in my opinion. UofL should make him say no. Oats would be the most fun for Card fans. Drew is as much a long shot as Donovan would be I think. Mussleman would crawl to Louisville to get out of Arkansas, he's a good coach that for some reason had his team just implode on him this season. Never been impressed by Cronin, but he would be the safe pick. I like Pearl, so for that reason alone I hope that he doesn't go to Louisville. That leaves us with Smart, for me personally, yes please hire Shaka Smart. Just never been a fan plus he's only relevant in leap years it seems. 😆
  12. While that can certainly happen, I think if time had been his concern he would have picked up his dribble and yelled Timeout.
  13. They inbound the ball at 28.5 and he passes it at 23.8, I don't think 10 seconds was his concern.
  14. Watching the replay over and over he didn't look panicked until he jumped to make the pass. In hindsight its easy to Monday morning QB it, watching live its not obvious until you see where he's throwing the ball. If he just drops it off to Dillingham there, everyone says great play. Unless you could see the future four seconds early there was no indication a timeout was needed until he attempted the pass.
  15. No, they changed it back and coaches can as long as their team has clear possession in the last 2 minutes of the half. But there was no reason to call one. Reed had 3 of 4 teammates open to pass to, he just chose wrong.
  16. It happened so fast that I don't think Cal or anyone could or would have called a timeout. It's not like Reed had picked up his dribble and was pivoting looking to pass. He was in full sprint with three open teammates to pass to, he just chose the one that wasn't open.
  17. I see a lot of complaints about Cal not calling a timeout before Sheppard's turnover. Reed still had his dribble and was driving up court in the first picture below. As the pics show, he had two teammates less than 15 feet away. I think it's reasonable to think he'd make the correct play and throw it to one of the two open players right in front of him. By the time he started to get in trouble until he goes to pass it, less than .6 of a second tick off. Not much time for Cal or a teammate to call a time-out.
  18. I told my wife they should have put one bucket inside of the other one a twist it so holes didn't line up. Then they could have taken turns running full buckets of water to the urns. One guy could always be resting and they would be carrying more water. On the number puzzle, I'd be willing to bet that combo lock could have been "picked" in about a minute. That gecko was a beast!!!
  19. So glad he went home. On first impressions I like this cast much better the one last year.
  20. How did it work when Reed started in place of DJ? Didn't we lose most of those games?
  21. I like bringing in the shock troops 3 or 4 minutes into the game. It seems to work well. Plus I think you never have to worry about Reed or Rob coming in connected and ready to go. Some players don't come off the bench as engaged as they do when starting. I like our chemistry right now, why screw it up?
  22. Vegas and ESPN both had the Cats as the dog tonight. Nice win on the road. This is the type of game that we have lost a lot more often than not the last few years. I knew Hubbard was going to tie it up, I was just hoping we'd have enough time to get off a good shot. As @Voice of Reason said, this is a very good win tonight.
  23. I was amazed that he stood for forty seconds while fully engulfed by fire.
