Browns trade Myles Garrett to the Rams

It was just announced that the Browns have worked out a deal to trade Myles Garrett to the Rams for Jarred Verse a 2027 1st round pick and other draft compensation that is still being worked out. A big mover ahead of today at 4:01pm that is one of the most significant deadlines on the NFL calendar, serving as the official threshold for teams to release or trade players while splitting their dead-cap penalties across two seasons.

I think that is great for the Rams but as a Bengals fan I am pretty stoked too, we don't have to face Myles twice a year now and if we are lucky enough to face him this year it will be in the super bowl.

I feel like it’s a great deal for the win now Rams.  I also feel like it’s a great move for the Browns.  Verse is above average, very good.   Young.  Cheaper.  Plus picks for a rebuilding team.  I don’t see a loser in this deal.

As life long Rams fan, I'm pretty stoked by this trade. Now if Aaron Donald would want to hop off the couch and run it back one more time, as hinted at, that would be icing on top of the cake!

My cousin was crushing me for giving up Verse and future draft picks, said this was a horrible deal for the Rams. I reminded him that he said almost word for word the same thing when the Rams traded Goff and draft picks for Stafford...Rams got a ring out of that swap. Hopefully this one goes the same way.

The Rams are absolutely going all in on this year. Super Bowl is in LA. Kroenke wants his team in the game.

Agree they are going all in, I think it's a coincidence that it's in LA this year.
