  1. Agree they are going all in, I think it's a coincidence that it's in LA this year.
  2. He's just plain horrible right now. Pitches just aren't moving.
  3. My cousin was crushing me for giving up Verse and future draft picks, said this was a horrible deal for the Rams. I reminded him that he said almost word for word the same thing when the Rams traded Goff and draft picks for Stafford...Rams got a ring out of that swap. Hopefully this one goes the same way.
  4. As life long Rams fan, I'm pretty stoked by this trade. Now if Aaron Donald would want to hop off the couch and run it back one more time, as hinted at, that would be icing on top of the cake!
  5. I think we'll see conference title games go away and the CFP will start at least a week if not two weeks earlier in the next few years. This year's conference title games are Dec 5th, leaving two weeks until first round of CFP. Army-Navy could be moved up to the vacant conference title weekend and CFP could start the next week.
  6. https://www.82-0.com/ NBA Version.
  7. If you need to kill some time, this is great for UK fans. Sent my wife the link and she spent the next hour trying to complete a 40-0 team. >>WARNING<< Can be addictive!
  8. You may be correct, but I thought all 14 were on scholarship.
  9. Looks like this is the final roster barring a 12th hour 15th player being added.
  10. Umm, I count 14.
  11. Nice get! Good for Pope too!
  12. Acuna with another seemingly catchable ball that he doesn't get to.
  13. Is Acuna having a stroke today? Taking bad angles to balls, nonchalantly going after ball in the corner, lollipop throws back into the infield. He looks completely disengaged on defense today.
  14. In my opinion, that 1982 team is probably the best ever at Somerset. The 83 and 84 teams are neck and neck for me.
  15. To what end though? To falsely build up his hope of an offer that never came? Like someone else said, if he played in any other state no one would be saying he deserved a call or an offer. It would different if other power 4 teams thought he could play for them and were recruiting him. Like they said on KSR earlier this week. With the new 5 years of eligibility coming, if you took every Mr Basketball you effectively would lock up a third of your roster with 5 players that might be better suited to mid majors or even Juco than to Kentucky.
  16. One thing that has probably pushed this forward is that of the last 8 First Four play-in games, 7 have been really good games. Additionally at least two of the First Four have advanced to at least round of 32 over the last three years.
  17. He also didn't get an offer from any other power conference team. Its kind a telling when his offers are all from mid majors. Hopefully he goes, develops his game and ends up at UK in a couple of seasons.
  18. Agreed!
  19. Wasn't there about a million dollars difference in the offers? I'd loved to have kept Chandler but I think $3,000,000 was too much to pay for him.
  20. You missed my point. If those guys had those years at UK they'd never made it long enough to reach their eventual successes. Even if they were here pre NIL, they'd never made it long enough to be successful.
  21. Just to your point bolded above, Pope took over a team with basically no roster. I know you can build quicker now, but the cupboard was left pretty bare.
  22. So if Donovan got hired next season and started off just like he did at Florida with back to back losing seasons, you'd be OK with it, "Because he's won before." Or if Bruce Pearl took over and had 3 straight losing seasons and NCAA problems, it's OK because he made a Final 4 once? My point that I made not have been clear about was that even some coaches that are considered top tier had prolonged struggles. Struggles that would have had everyone calling for their head if they were here, except for a few saying, "But he's won before."
  23. Billy Donovan was 35-20 in two seasons at Marshall. Went to Florida and had back to back losing seasons then first round exit in 3rd year. Dan Hurley missed the tournament completely his first two years at UConn. Years three and four led to first round losses in NCAA. Bruce Pearl rolled into Auburn and had three straight losing seasons to start his run there. The third season was 18-14 on the court but the NCAA dropped to 6-14 after numerous violations. My point being that three of the coaches most fans are begging for all struggled at their school before having a breakout season(s). Pope definitely has made some missteps. I'm guessing everyone of you screaming for Pope to be fired after year two, would have done the same with Donovan, Hurley, Pearl and several others that didn't win immediately.
