Rory McIlory wins the 2026 Masters

Featured Replies

The first day is well into play on a beautiful day at Augusta National. Sam Burns is in the clubhouse with a 5 under 67 and Rory is also 5 under with a birdie putt on 17. On a side note, I love the Bank of America commercials with kids replaying great moments from Master history.

What a day 2 from the Masters as defending champion Rory Mcllroy put on a clinic today shooting a -7 under 65 to be the leader at -12 under halfway through the tournament and has a 6 shot lead heading into day 3.

Rory threatening to run away with this. What is the largest margin of victory in Masters history?

Tiger Woods in 1997 won by 12 stokes. Jack Nicklaus 9 stokes in 1965 and Raymond Floyd by 8 in 1976.

Scottie Scheffler made a huge run today as he shot a -7 under 65 to move to -7 under for the tournament and currently just 5 shots behind McIlroy.

Also Cameron Young is -7 under today through just 14 holes and is currently only one shot behind Rory at -11 under.

Cameron Young also shoots a -7 under 65 after getting it to -8 under at one point and is in clubhouse at -11 under and is currently 1 shot behind Rory.

Scheffler has done this a few times this year already...having great 3rd and 4th rounds after having mediocre initial rounds.  I look forward to Scottie being back to his dominant self over a full tournament again.

Rory just 3 putted from inside of 5 feet for a double bogey and has fallen to -10 under and 2 shots behind Cameron Young and Scottie Scheffler ins only 3 shots back at -9 along with Justin Rose and Russell Henley.

Not a lot of great golf being played by the leaderboard right now.

I think how dry it has been and the wind is a little worse than expected has something to do with it.

Rory with a chance to get back to -12 with a birdie putt on 9 and missing, may come back to haunt him.

Give props to Bank of America with their ads recreating great moments and using kids.

Scottie Scheffler has the clubhouse led at -11 under par after a final round 68. Rory is currently 2 shots ahead with two holes to play. It is Rory's to win or lose.

Rory just needs a bogey to win it and he hits a horrible drive on 18 but it looks like it is bad enough that he will be able to go up the 10th fairway.
