Why I'm I starting to have flashbacks?

Two quick outs, then a seeing eye single, walk and a blast...Reds down 3-0. 

Skeens gives up a walk then shuts the door on the Reds.

This isn't looking promising, so far.

The Pirates are up 3-0 in the 2nd.

I am always a bit puzzled by the consternation over daily events in baseball. The one that gets me the most is the freak out over why so and so isn't playing today. Baseball is a marathon. Daily events have less meaning in baseball than every other sport. When forming opinions on baseball teams and players, looking at anything less than a month at a time is counterproductive.

I totally understand what you're saying, but I'm still a firm believer titles can be won and lost in April.

Reds are now down just 3-1 after 5 it has started to rain lightly at the game.
