Congrats to Lindsay, I am sure that she will be missed at AC. I enjoyed watching her play over the years and I am sure that our girls will look forward to seeing her at G-Town this summer.

I guess they are finally getting to the age to be able to compete, they have played mostly MS girls in the last several years. Henry always has a good team so that is a good showing.

LOL has anyone told her! She would be a good addition to any staff...however holidays at home could be tough.

Not that I have heard. We had the banquet tonight and nothing was announced. I hope not the girls really like the current Coach.!

When I say made up - that is literal. In our school the coach has his own system that has nothing to do with the accepted stat process. I cringe when I read them in the paper because some of them should be in the world record book. I agree with the clinic idea, but if they just refuse to do it then it does not matter. I think it is difficult during the game but that the best way to do it is use the game tape..that way you can back up and take a second look.

Many of the girls have been working in the off season, and finally some of their players are now Soph and Juniors. This is their new Coach's second year so hopefully they will be a better team. It seems that more of the athletes are now playing softball so time will tell.

Is there any requirement that the correct stats are kept on a Varsity v-ball team? Made-up stats and unconventional stats do nothing for the player outside of their High School team and should certainly not happen in any sport so I am trying to see if there is any rules or regulations regarding it.

I thought Kelsey had a good year and I am sure she was tops on everyones scouting reports, this probably opened the door for Jessica and the Crawford girl to get more looks at the basket. It is always hard to pick one and I am sure that everyone had a tough time with their choice.

Congrats to all the players and teams that were recognized at the NCKC banquet tonight. Congratulations to Randy Mefford of Carroll County for begin chosen as Girl's Coach of the Year.

Congrats to Anderson on the win.! They played some very good ball last night. Good job Lady Panthers you held it close until about 5 minutes left in the game. Great season.. will miss the seniors, and look forward to watching the Panthers develop for next year. Work hard in the off-season!

Buttels is going to have to bring up some good luck! It was nice that you all covered the games... we really do appreciate it.

I saw 8 girls go in the game and play --7 saw significant time. They had 2 girls that were sick...one that had been in the hospital. Worked the rest of the year for 18 games. Won the NAS tournament, NCKC CHamps, runner up in the All A...I think Mefford has done a great job. Owen played 8 girls also. Seems like that is how it is. Congrats to OWEN CO. It has been a great year between these 2 teams. I hope we both do well in the region representing the 31st.

Interesting, however..Owen beat both Spencer and Oldham in the regular season. I think after SK and Anderson it is a toss up.. alll of those teams are very close in ability. I like the SO gym for the regional it is a nice place to play.

Congrats to Henry on their win..they are the luckiest team on the CC floor. Also Congrats to Carroll CO for a great season. They are a much improved ball team this year and I just can not imagine where this team would be if they had this leadership for 4 years. The Seniors did a great job learning a new system and working hard and will be missed. I really enjoyed watching them in every game.!

Good luck to WV..however I think SK wins this one and possibly the region.
