Effective yesterday, Kirk Chism has resigned as both a teacher and head football coach from Trimble County High School. No other details have been released on the situation.

 

The coaching spot has been re-opened and will be filled as quickly as possible. Assistants and volunteers will continue the weight program.

He resigned as both a teacher and coach. He had taught in the TC school system over 10 years, I believe.

I hope they get someone hired soon for the players sake.

I don't think Acklin would be a good fit for Trimble...He seems to be fine where he is....:clap:

Has one heard anything yet as to why he resigned from teaching and coaching? I have heard a few rumors from people in the area but really do not think any of those things might be true! He was a good teacher from what I have been told!
