I thought that the calls were very lopsided. There is a reason that Henry county does not have a spot on their scoreboard so that you can see. In our girls game Henry shot 20 foul shots and we shot 3 and the trend continued into the boys game. Of course that is how I am going to see it I am a CC fan! When you have 3 refs there is always one that blows the whistle every time up the floor. It is like a contest to see who can make a call.

Owen is always tough at home. District match-ups are always tough. Congrats to Owen Co.

Carroll shot well at Henry Co. tonight. Their defense was probably the best I have seen all year. Took 45 minutes to get out of the parking lot. It is going to be a challenge to have a regional tournament there.

Carroll is an improving team, but Henry is always tough at home. I think Carroll will get this one but Henry is going to be tough. Defense is the key for Carroll. CC 45 Henry 37

I think that players should not be left in with repeated mistakes, not because they shoot when open but because they do not run the plays or get beat on defense. If your man is scoring on you every time down the court then there is a good chance you will come out of the game. That is true for boys and girls. The goal is to win. If it is not your night, or if your man is faster then you should change things up. I see no fear in this team they seem fearless at this point and look 100% better than last year. They are only getting better, and I am picking them to win the district as long as they play as a team.

Well your other choices are Owen or Carroll...I think I would take Henry for us.

Carroll did not play their best ball. They seem to not be sharing the ball like they did in the wins that I have seen. They will be fine and bounce back! Good luck to the Panthers! Congrats to Owen on the win.

Spencer has a good team but I watched Owen beat them pretty easily at a tournament this year. Maybe it was not their best game but I think Shelby will be a lot better after watching both teams. They have some nice guards also that can get the ball into Marshall.

Congrats to the Lady Panthers. It was a great game to watch! They look stronger and play together better every game.

Not directed at anyone on the current team.. but if all a parent has to judge their kids ability on is a few minutes in a vasrsity game then you can understand why they would be upset if their child does not play a lot. IN practice when the girls play against each other it is easy to see the differences in strength, ability etc. It is also a good learning tool about what your child needs to work on. The CC parents are very involved in all levels with the girls.

I actually think some parents need to go and watch practice. THERE are some that whine and do not understand why their child is not playing more. Go to one practice and watch and you may have your answer. IF all they have to judge are the games it may be hard to understand.

I actually though Kitchen and Bowling made the difference in the game. The post player was pretty good but those 2 are hard to guard when they are on the floor together.
