Final from New Castle. Must have called this one at halftime.

This was a barn-burner compared to the Brossart-Holy Cross game.

Congrats to Henry County.

The refs did..

Carroll had a bad shooting night..they will be ok. It was 4-4 after the first quarter.

Was there a lot of fouls called?

Was there a lot of fouls called?

Not really anymore than there usually are in a high school game. Both teams had terrible shooting nights. Great win for HC. Carrol Co. has a really good team. These two teams are making noise in the 31st district thought to be favored by Owen or Gallatin. It would not surprise me if either team won the district.

I thought that the calls were very lopsided. There is a reason that Henry county does not have a spot on their scoreboard so that you can see. In our girls game Henry shot 20 foul shots and we shot 3 and the trend continued into the boys game.

Of course that is how I am going to see it I am a CC fan! When you have 3 refs there is always one that blows the whistle every time up the floor. It is like a contest to see who can make a call.

Regardless of what the win loss record has been recently CC players and fans should be excited. The team is going through some growing pains right now but thats almost to be expected. As stated before once this group learns to trust each other regardless of who is on the floor they will be fine. They also need to block out alot of what is being said around them and to trust the fact that they have one of the best coaching staffs around. Realize the fact that every night is not going to be your night. This group of players has a chance to put CC basketball back on top not only in the district, but in the 8th region. If they could only see their potential if they ALL put team first.
