  1. bb any word on the Holmes, Bryan Station game? Should be about over.
  2. Probably close to being over, game started at 6 I believe.
  3. I think their playing Bryan Station, at Tates Creek.
  4. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound junior is considered by many to be the top player of his class in the state of Kentucky. His performance in the 2008 Sweet Sixteen, as his Holmes team was runner-up to Mason Co., began a rapid rise on the recruiting front. "Kentucky really started showing a lot of interest since the state tournament. I have talked to them a lot lately." UK assistant coach Tracy Webster and head coach Billy Gillispie are handling Johnson's recruitment. "Coach Gillispie is real cool. Coach Webster is real interesting. I really like their tradition. I have Kentucky at the top right now. I have heard from Xavier, Georgetown, Indiana, Butler, Akron, Cincinnati, Western Kentucky, and Eastern Kentucky."
  5. Holmes grad here. I really like the way Henley Coaches, and the way he handles his players is pretty nice to see. That being said, I to believe Faust is #1 in N.Ky.
  6. Jamel Riley shoud do a good job running the show for Holmes next year. Heard he played pretty well at UK's elite camp.

  11. Hope to get a full report from GT sometime tonight.
  12. Doug Losey NC, by far for me. Some others during my days were Stamm, and Atkins from Newport. Molitor and the late Robbie Claypool from Lloyd. There were plenty more, those are just the ones that come to mind.
  13. He was the first varsity pitcher I ever hit against, I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was a sophomore in 81 and just called called up to the varsity Team. It was late in the game and Coach called my name to pinch hit. Here I was sitting there on the bench watching the best pitcher in the region, and back then it seemed like he was throwing about a 100mph. I jumped up like I really wanted to hit, well I kinda did but...I was a lefty myself, so I knew I was in trouble. I hit a little pop up to the 2nd baseman and was happy as a lark. The good thing was, after facing Doug, all the fear was gone. He was hands down the best pitcher I ever faced. Some others during my days were Stamm, and Atkins from Newport. Molitor and the late Robbie Claypool from Lloyd. There were plenty more, those are just the ones that come to mind. Again, congrats to Luke. I suppose he may get 3 in a row?
