Harlan County/Knox Scrimmage
Lynn Camp has some injuries though and should be better by the time they play the Jacket Air attack.

Lynn Camp/Pineville Scrimmage
Good Job Campers.

Harlan County/Knox Scrimmage
And yes that was an impressive line of football players when they marched onto the field.

Harlan County/Knox Scrimmage
From what I saw of the two games with KC and Williamsburg it looked like the same players at least in the first couple of series of both games. But enough about those guys. What did you think about Lynn Camp? I thought they looked good at moments and lacking in others. Any comments?

Lynn Camp/Pineville Scrimmage
I say LC very easily, Pineville has not impressed me very much the last few years.

Williamsburg 2008/2009
From what I saw at Lynn Camp games last year the #1 thing the Yellow Jackets need to improve is their defense. I saw very little effort on defense. If they could step up the intensity on defense I think they could compete with some other teams.

Are numbers down everywhere
Kids are different today. Too much other stuff going on. It also depends on the program you had. The school I attended back in the 80s was a big school and the football program did not turn out many kids but Basketball on the other hand always had lots of kids turned away.

My apologies. Just a little humor and what is the exact numbers for classes?

I wonder if those transfers received financial assistance for their school tuition.

Nicely done Daddy Cat.

2008 Lynn Camp
I expect the campers to have a good year. I read the paper today and I think it had Lynn Camp Ranked 13 and Williamsburg around 8 and Campbellsville in the 6 I believe. I can agree with Campbellsville being in the top 10 but I think the Yellow Jackets would be ranked at best in the top 15 to 12 and from what I seen of LC I think they should be above the Yellow Jackets.

BGP 1A Rankings
Not bad but I don't see how Pineville can be ranked above Lynn Camp. Lynn Camp should be somewhere in the top 15 at least.

Rank The State- 3A
There are several 1a schools I would pick over 3As. There are exceptions to the rule and I am sure there are some Eastern Kentucky and Western schools I am not familiar with. Are there better 3As then 1As? Sure, but I think overall it is the weakest of the classes in overall good quality teams, why else would a 2A school move up a class so they could play in what is a weak district instead of competing with the tougher 2A schools in their district. That being said I think there are several schools that are improving and 3A will get much tougher. Of Course I could be completely wrong but I think a few other would agree with my humble opinion of 3A football in Kentucky.

Rank The State- 3A
3A is a pretty weak class other than a few exceptions (Belfry, Central). However saying that, it seems like some of the schools in this class are starting to make strides to improve but still IMHO the weakest class in football.

Rank the State (1A Fan Rankings)
Gotcha, My bad.

Rank the State (1A Fan Rankings)
I would say Campbellsville is more Central.

Rank the State (1A Fan Rankings)
Perception is a such a funny thing. It could be completely unfounded but just the very belief in it can make that very perception that was untrue become true. 1. Beechwood (King of 1A till they get beat) 2. LCA (Did Coach Rains learn anything from last year's runner-up showing?) 3. Hazard (Did not lose much and should have revenge on their mind) 4. Raceland (Plays with LCA in a tough district) 5. Mayfield (Should be strong) 6. Pikeville (Should be up this year with a tough non-district schedule) 7. Holy Cross (Think about it) 8. Frankfort (Always good) 9. Campbellsville (Returns a lot and has a tough district other than Clinton Co.) 10. Williamsburg (Heard this team did well at UK camp and should have beaten Campbellsville last year)

The size of players these days is amazing
Lorenzen was from Highlands! I did not know that. Very cool.

Guess who said it for Corbin and Middlesboro fans (anyone can guess)?
I heard Corbin had refused to play some smaller schools from around that area too.

2008 Lynn Camp
How is Quenton Henson doing these days? I have not seen him in a while.

Strongest returning players for 2008
very impressive, and thanks Bluto!

Strongest returning players for 2008
May have to see that to believe it. There are many NFL and College who can not do that and they weigh over 210.

Next football re-alignment
8 man football in High School would be pointless. If you can't field 11 then don't have a team. and it's the same ol discussion, Private supporters want this and Public supporters want this. Both sides back up what they want with polls etc etc. The real problem in Kentucky sports is the lack of classification for all other sports. The KHSAA is outdated in thier approach to all other sports except track which is classed for some reason....
