These stand out to me, what do you think?

I think the Top 5 are pretty solid. After that, it's a crapshoot. Bellevue's probably too high, but, there's not much difference in #7 to #15, just depends on who plays the best as this will likely flip flop all year. I don't see any after 5 ever cracking that top tier list though. Campbellsville and Holy Cross probably have the best chance...

I think looking at what they have coming back LCA at # 1 is where they should be. Only saw them play once last year. That was at the state game. IMO they had the better team but Beechwood had the will to win.

I dont have a dog in the fight and I didnt see Beechwood or LCA last year (I missed the 1A state championship) but I did see Hazard twice. They were extremely athletic and only really lost one player as I understand. Although depth is a question mark, they should be rock solid!!

Not bad but I don't see how Pineville can be ranked above Lynn Camp. Lynn Camp should be somewhere in the top 15 at least.

Raceland is solid...only lost (2) starters off of last year's team which lost 34-32 to LCA.

Frankfort is not a top ten team yet. They have to shape up their front 5 before they can make another run. IMO they are somewhere around 15-17 preason. By the end of the year they will be top caliber.

From what I have seen and heard this should be a great year for 1A football...good luck to all the teams this year.

I guess we'll get to see if Pineville is the better team. They play LC in the Grid-O-Rama @ KC in a few weeks. I can't see the Mountain Lions being the better team, but they have to be getting better than they were.

I would bet my lunch money on the Campers. Their line is back and they have some very good skill people. Pineville was improved but I don't believe they have the athletes to beat Lynn Camp.

I agree, I think 1A football is going to be very fun to watch and follow this season. I expect a lot of excitement in the state's smallest class.

Ok, where are the rankings, I read in the Murray Ledger that the BluegrassPreps Rankings are out, but so far all I have seen is talk.
