Ok, where are the rankings, I read in the Murray Ledger that the BluegrassPreps Rankings are out, but so far all I have seen is talk.

Go to www.bluegrasspreps.com and drag your cursor over the football tab, a drop down menu will appear with all the pre-season rankings.

So why is Brossart ahead of Bracken Co, and so much higher than Walton Verona? Any thoughts?

IMO Pikeville is way too low but thats ok. Were just gonna have to make some believers out of people this year.

LCA should be pre-season number #1. They got back all of their position players, which they happen to all be juniors. LCA also picks up a senior, who is possibly the best athlete in the school, he was all-city basketball, and started shortstop in baseball. A beast in the weight room and loves to hit. I dont see LCA loosing a game in single A play. Assuming they make it deep in the playoffs, I believe only Beechwood and Hazard could give them a run for their money. I also understand LCA recieved a transfer from Hazard. Any word with that?

Alright everyone get off the "Financial Assistance" topic and back on the 1A Rankings. No further warning will be issued.

Lynn Camp is way, way too low. They will destroy Pineville. LC should be around 11-14 range for sure. Pineville is about 9-12 spots too high.

Man, I love it. I would say LCA wont lose a game this year. 15 and 0.

I'd have to think Raceland and Mayfield could both give them a run for there money, but, LCA has definately seperated themselves from most of the 1a teams out there and have a great shot of bringing home the hardware this year...

True, but, they have built a pretty solid program in a short period of time that is better than alot of the programs thats been in existence for a long time. Maybe seperated themselves was the wrong wording. I'm just saying they're doing well for themselves, at least in the short term and there future looks bright, but, you're right, they need a few more years of success, some consistency and a championship or 2 before they'll be considered an elite 1a program in the Beechwood or Mayfield class...
