I agree as long as the other team is still competing. I was very fortunate in my athletic career to have been on the winning side much more often than not. I do recall a baseball game we played in Florida against a team from New York. We had a great ball team that year but we were simply outclassed against these guys. After these guys got up 12 or so to 0 in the first couple of innings, they started stopping at first on balls hit in the gaps. They would stop at first on an obvious double or triple. I understood why they were doing it. They were showing respect and trying not to embarrass us.It was still embarrassing and infuriating. I would have rather lost that game 100 to 0 than to be treated like a helpless victim.

No instructions from me, but as a tip, just keep it simple with an air fryer. We have one and use it for stuff that we bought frozen like French fries, wings, and cheese sticks. It’s handy to have but it’s not going to produce great fried chicken or anything like that. Stuff that is cooked in oil tastes great because it was cooked in oil...an air fryer takes the oil out of the equation so keep that in mind when you’re cooking with it.

I’ve got a Traeger and love it. I agree though, it’s a smoker and in no way is it going to replace your grill.

I switched to Android (Samsung) years ago for two reasons: 1 - I despised Itunes. Don't know why but I really hated that program. 2 - I felt that I couldn't keep up with Apple any longer. Everytime I got close to pulling the trigger on a new IPhone I was hesitant because apple's next release would have such drastic changes. Basically I was tired of feeling like I needed a new phone every year. My wife's IPhone is newer than mine. It basically looks like a brick compared to the newer models and it really isn't that old... I currently own a galaxy note 3 and at 5 years old, you can't tell much of a difference between mine and the newer models. Also, my phone has a battery that can be replaced without an engineering degree so that's nice.

This. I played football from the 3rd or 4th grade through my senior year of high school. I have a six month old sitting on my lap right now, if he wants to play, he’ll play. I refuse to discourage him from playing the ultimate team sport out of fear. He’s just as likely to hurt himself on a bicycle, dirt bike or car accident.

Pulling for Ashland but I think JC wins by about 10. No solid reasoning, just a gut feeling. It's hard to beat a good team twice and JC will be looking for revenge.

Had the same issue on a Samsung battery years ago. A factory reset fixed the problem for me.

I downloaded the Mixlr app and am able to listen to the broadcast on my phone. Pretty simple sign up process if anyone else needs to go this route....

Congrats to Baker. It doesn't matter if it's Alabama or EKU, the kid is going to get his education paid for and that's all that matters. Kids do seem to flip flop with commitments in football. Do you think it is because there are more kids recruited each year in football ? Seems to be somewhat rare in basketball. I have no problem with it. You're in play until you sign your paperwork. Do you think Marshall would have passed up on a better running back than Baker had one wanted to commit ? Absolutely not. Baker is trying to put himself in the best situation possible and I have no problem with it.

One last question about the Roku. Do you prefer it because it's easier to use than the Chromcast ? Basically eliminating the laptop or tablet from the equation and simply streaming from the device alone... Or is it a quality issue ? Are the streaming qualities of the Roku and Chromecast similar ?

Ok, so that would be a no on pulling up various websites from my phone or computer and casting them on my television ?

Thanks. The Roku is basically a stand alone streaming device ? Hook it up to the tv, connect it to my wireless internet and go ? Does it have a web browser ? I know it works in some ways with your phone. Could you project websites on your tv from your phone or laptop ?

Anyone own one ? Looking for something to stream Netflix and ESPN3 from my laptop to a television when I'm on vacation or at work (mainly when I'm at work:lol2:) Pros and cons ? Anything in the same price range that is a better option ?

As I've said before, I'm a shoe freak. I doubt parents are shelling out this kind of cash for shoes. $200 is a little high for a new pair of shoes. $300 is crazy unless you are ordering something custom made. Of the 30 pairs of shoes I own, $220 is the most I've paid for a single pair. Jordans typically run in the $120 to $170 range.

Not interested in a tablet. I prefer the feel of a laptop. I'm open to buying another Toshiba. My current one could probably last another year or two, just looking for something new.
