This was LC's freshman squad, their JV squad was playing at Dunbar tonight.

With Lexington Catholic peaking, I think they could make a tremendous run at the state title.

I will go out on a limb and say that more programs other than Trinity play sophomores during freshman games as well. In a game like this sometimes a little help is needed. Most of the time they are sophomores who dont get much playing time during JV games and need some experience.

I can remember watching Seth play as a youngster, is he still small? Can he run a productive offense? or will being a freshman hurt him? I have been away from the program for a while now and I honestly don't know much, can you fill me in?

I think a main reason for Paris to schedule tough teams is to try and build a solid program. Sure, you could play a cupcake schedule and be satrisfied with a decent record. But I say play tough teams and learn from your mistakes against them.

You could say it was an off night for the offense just had a real bad day. Ward threw 4 int that game but gave a strong showing against E.Jesmine. Cant wait for this game and I expect for it to a be a good one. And also this very well could be a game of two future State champions this season.

According to Maxpreps, the St. Xavier in LOUISVILLE is currently ranked number 6 in the country.

Although some may disagree, This game is more evenly matched than most assume. Highlands defense is averaging giving up 12 points per game whereas Catholic is averaging 14. Both have offenses that are capable of scoring a lot of points.

A bit over half-way through the season, how are teams shaping up. Who seems to have the best defense in the state?

I can remember about 2 years ago and before they had been close games, but last year the Knights handled the breds both games. However, I look for a good game.

One problem i have with this thread is that someone said that Franklin County's coaches work harder than any others in the state. I find that to be wrong.

Yes Isreal was still out. But catholic played real sloppy and X played amazing. I think i heard that Finch had 300+yrds...WOW Lexcath had alot of penalties, mistakes, and droped passes, You do that against a team like St.X and they will make u suffer for it. Good luck to X rest of the season.

Think back to '04 where LexCath got beat by the same margin, and then in "05 bounced back and lost by a last minute field goal. (questionable call might I add)
