Mason Co had way to many turnovers. Royals could have put up MANY more points. Now they can look forward to the BIG SHOWDOWN with Russell.

Bourbon County is improving day by day keep it up Colonels!

The Colonels have come a long way under Coach Massie. I hope he can keep improving this young football team.

No the JV didnt play that much at all. Mason had a few turnovers, but give Bourbon credit they played hard and kept it close.

The game was 28-0 early in the 4th; probably should have been a little wider spread but turnovers and penalties kept the score there. Bourbon to their credit kept playing hard and scored a couple of late TDs. Mason rolled up close to 400 yards of offense but shot themselves in the foot several times. JV got playing time, but not as much as some would have predicted going in.

 

Improvements need to be made by next Friday.

A week off and then this afraid will kill any chance of Mason even staying close to Russell. Coach really needs to turn things up a notch or two at practice this week, Royals sleep walked through this one at Bourbon.

I thought and even said that this was a trap game. Mason was looking ahead to Russell and with Bourbon's past history were taken lightly.

Major trap game. Hope Coach takes Paris and Bourbon off of next years schedule. Replace them with Frankfort and Harrison County or LCA if you want to play A or AAAA competition out of district. I'll take a pretty lose(Boone County) out of district over a blow out or ugly win
