Central looked like a totally different football team in the 2nd half. They've got a solid team. Not nearly as good as Woodford Co., but head and shoulders above the other 3teams in the district.

Montgomery will have the 4 seed as long as Ashland doesnt win its last 2 games, one tonight against Bryan Station, and next week at JC.

 

JC looked very sluggish and as if it were going through the motions in the 1st half. They came back out with some fire about them in the 2nd and put this one away. Great game tonight for Richardson. It was obvious that Montgomery was focused on taking Grim out of the game which allowed for Richardson to put up huge numbers. Not sure on the total yardage but he had 3 TD's if Im not mistaken. JC did a good job of forcing Curtis to make mistakes. He got loose on some plays but for the most part JC contained him pretty well and forced him to throw 4 INT's I believe.

 

I dont want to say that the officals called an unfair game. But this obviously, or at least I hope, was not the best this region had to offer. The fumble in the first quarter was very questionable to say the least.

It got so bad I picked up my little girl at halftime and left. I understand there were some bad calls but to tell high school kids to harm someone is crazy.

Johnson Central had a big following come to this game. Dont know the exact # but I believe it helped to rally the team from a sub par 1st half.
