Simon Kenton 27 Dixie 6

This was a devastigating loss for the Dixie. It looks like Dixie will lose thier two best players due to injuries suffered in the game. Thier QB/S is repoted to have broken his thumb on his throwing hand, and the FB/MLB it is feared has tore a ligament in his knee. Game was close for the first half. Then within the early part of the 3rd quater the bad luck struck the Colonels. Injuries have really effected this Dixie group this year. Hope they will continue to fight through it.

Are the injuries at home or away predominantly. I've noticed quite a few more kids than usual on the sidelines using crutches this year. I'm just curious if the new turf playing a part in any of these injuries?
