This should be one of the best games in the state Friday night. HHS goes in undefeated, while the Knights only have one loss, to Louisville Saint Xavier. The last time these two teams met was in the 2005 Class 3A regional finals, which LexCath won on their way to their only football state championship.

Makes you wonder how many years Highlands has been knocked out by the eventual state champion.

Just providing a little background for this match-up!

It should be a great one... at the time LexCath's lopsided loss to Saint X looked very bad, but given what Saint X has done to other teams since then, it doesn't look so bad anymore.

HHS' defense has not had to play against a high-powered offense lately... this should be a good "measuring stick" game for the Bluebirds. Also, I don't think that HHS has had to play against a team with more physical talent than the 'Birds have, other than Trotwood-Madison, a game which could have gone either way. I'd say that LexCath has the same (and very possibly more) athletic talent that HHS does.

Also, these last three games (all away) against LexCath, Madison Central, and Louisville Central should really get the 'Birds prepared and sharp for the playoffs.

Unless Highlands has a Deuce Finch in their backfield, I think LexCath can pull the upset.

Where is this game at, Dayton has a bye so I would love to come to this game.:dancingpa

No they have something better Clay Cecil, Josh Connor, and Zach Hurtt...You only had to stop one guy in Deuce now you have three you better worry about. They also have Oliver Head and Clint Crawford that aren't to shabby either...Highlands has way to many weapons for Lex Cath to win this one. I think there also might be a little of a revenge factor on their minds.......GO BIRDS!!!!!!!!!:fight::fight::fight:

I'm sure Highlands has some very good players, but so did St. X. Deuce Finch was an exceptional athlete who busted tackles and outran our secondary. He reminds me of Derrick Locke at UK. Highlands will offer a different challenge with its muti-faceted attack but unless they have a superman like Finch, LexCath can probably contend. This LexCath team isn't as quick as years past but has more size and is better balanced offensively and defensively.

You can bet Dale Mueller has this game highlighted on the schedule. Payback is you know what. It wont be easy on the road but I say Highlands wins by atleast a touchdown or two.

That will be a problem...

I'll be shocked if this is as good of a game that some are saying. After seeing Catholic play multiple times...this simply isn't the same Catholic teams of the past few years. I think Highlands wins this one convincingly.

So is Highlands that dominate a team? How will they dominate?
