What are some of the surprises of this season so far?

 

What teams have improved from last year?

After one game it looks like the Pulaski Co Maroons seem to be on the right track after 2 forgetable years.

Shelby Valley may end up being of the biggest surprises in the Eastern part of the state. The Wildcats have went from being a perennial 4th/5th palce team in their district, to being in the position to host a home playoff game. I expect them to finish somewhere around 7-3 or 8-2.

Lloyd. They will be very dangerous come playoff time.

 

They got a new coach this year who's pretty good.

The Montgomery Co. Indians have shown some drastic improvement with their 2-0 start!

Dayton and LLoyd

I think Dunbar is vastly improved and I am very surprised by them losing to Corbin.

 

This Dunbar team will be terrific when this year's junior class becomes seniors.

Daviess Co. 2-0. We will see just how good this week against Henderson Co. always a tough game even if Henderson is 0-2

Pineville is 2-0. Coach Elam has them heading in right direction, possibly toward a winning season. Lots of hard work in offseason. Winning attitude among players. New kicker is 7-7 PAT's and had 2 FG's Friday night.
