  1. They said that some of the windows were blown out in the dome, hopefully no one was around and no one was hurt by that. Going to be a long night! Go Cats!
  2. After seeing Mont Co play in the tourney, will have to pick the Indians as the 10th region champs!
  3. I do believe that Keaton is a junior and yes it was PRP that beat PC his senior year at Rupp. I enjoyed being able to watch him play again last night. It is always nice to see a hometown kid on national tv. Nice kid, good family, congrats to Belmont and Keaton.
  4. Alabama--I was led to the DOC from my brother. The preacher was more of a teacher then a "preacher". He went through the chapters of the bible, trying to explain it. He was actually a communications professor at a local college. This made more sense to me than being preached at. Although at the end of my teens/early twenties, I needed the "preaching". Both of the churches, baptist and DOC, utilized the King James version. At this point in my life I am more into the learning/studying, although I have drifted from it again, I am in search of a new church again. Of course the human side of everyone has split our little church and the preacher has left. I didn't care for some of the things he did but I felt he was very knowledgeable. So the search is on again...
  5. While I thank and love my parents for baptizing me at 6 weeks into the Catholic faith, I at the age of 20, accepted Jesus and in doing that wanted and did get baptized again. I spent my teen years going from church to church trying to find what was missing. No offense to anyone, but the Catholic religion and I just never seen things in the same way. I wound up being baptized in a Baptist church and now attend the Disciples of Christ Christian church. I am in no way a scholar of the Bible, but know in my heart that if I as a christian put forth a life trying to live as Jesus would want me to, I will someday sit among my family/friends that have already left this earth, in the gates of heaven.
  6. Ditto, glad you are back and thanks!!
  7. Prayers from Pendleton County.
  8. Anywhere from 7:15am to 5pm, depends on what the day brings us...then its home to cooking, cleaning and off to sporting events on any given night of the week/weekend.
  9. I love the fieldhouse at Mason, what an atmosphere. But in all respect, this needs to be shared by all in the 10th region. It is not fair to hold it at one place all the time, why should the same schools have to do all the traveling. I am also hoping that when NKU gets their new gym finished, the schools in the northern part of the region will be able to hold the regional tournament there. This way the tourney can be changed and all will have their turn at hosting.
  10. Do you guys ever think that the excitement of building a program outweighs the $$$. I know in my life now,if an opportunity came along to do something that I have always wanted to do and financially I was stable, I would jump on it. Good Luck Coach Campbell.
  11. This is awesome news, congrats!!
  12. This has to be one of my pet peeves. The other day, I played dodgems with flying ice/snow too. Wednesday morning driving in I was amazed at the number of cars that had snow covering all of the car except the front windshield, how in the world do they expect to change lanes? I cannot reach to roof of my van either but I take the broom and try to crack as much of it that I can and then push it off the back.
  13. I am not sure about the "team" at Pendleton Co but definitely will have Ryan Stegman in the backfield. Ryan rushed for over 1400 yds this past season and he plans on setting more new records at Pendleton his senior year. He is a hard worker and very talented on the field, seems to slip through defenders, he can cut and run very well. Also one tough kid, reminds of the enegizer bunny, he never seems to run out of steam.
  14. Been a rough couple of years but you ladies hung in there and gave it your all, thanks for everything!! Good Luck the rest of the way, see you in the bleachers!
  15. I sure hope the PC seniors get to play this game all the way through, go out with a bang ladies!!
  16. Congrats on your roses, I don't care much for roses, got carnations instead...
  17. Go about 20 miles south of NKY and snow removal is non existant. Nothing moving here in Pendleton Co.
  18. It seems that my internal alarm clock wakes me around 5am everyday no matter what time I get to bed. I set my alarm clock every night just in case but I guarantee my eyes are open before it goes off. I would like to learn how to sleep longer on the weekends but it just doesn't happen.
  19. Way to go, you guys defintely make this site worth belonging...
  20. I have a necklace that has been passed down through the years on my mother's side of the family, was given to the "baby" girl of the family and has been worn by almost every female for special occasions and will be forwarded onto my daughter. I have my grandfather's glasses and all the things he saved including a curl of my hair from when I was born and a strand of my grandmother's hair someone made into a key chain looking piece. I never met my grandmother, she passed 6 weeks after my parents married. Then there is my daughter, not a possesion but the second greatest gift the good Lord gave me.
  21. Congrats Kyle, keep up the good work on and off the field. Oh and congrats to mom and dad too!!
  22. the over abundence of the feet shuffling traveling calls (my pet peeve) during a girls first move. I'm biased I admit, but the boys get away with that shuffle and the girls do not! I agree, this has to be the call that is made a gazillion times and I don't see the pivot foot ever move, ref just sees the ball.
