  1. Their five losses are to Henry Clay, Bryan Station, Belfry, Scott Co. and Lafayette. If Madison Central or Madison Southern had to play that difficult a schedule they'd probably be 1-9 or 0-10. Madison Southern is 4-5 that's a losing record. Listen, I know rankings are difficult but these are not credible at this point. There is no reason to make excuses
  2. Just so everyone knows where I am coming from Tates Creek has defeated both Madison Southern and Madison Central and had Lafayette on the ropes in the 4th quarter. and then blew Ashland out last week. Henry Clay has beaten Tates Creek and Bryan Station. Madison Central also beat Wayne Co. who is #6 and Madison Central is #8. I've seen every team on this list live and in person this year. I know rankings are tough but if this is the best BGP can do then its flat out laughable.
  3. How does Madison Southern or Madison Central make it over Tates Creek or Henry Clay? There is no logical answer to that question. These are either biased or terrible. I guess results on the field mean nothing.
  4. I think 5A is the most competitive as there is no clear favorite and many teams that could win it and I believe this will be the class with the most upsets. I think once you get to the 2nd/3rd/4th round the 3A could and will be better but the 1st round matchups look terrible besides Henry Co./Garrard Co., Bardstown is not a vintage squad and I don't see them competing with Lex. Catholic.

  11. There are obvious reasons for coaches to be fired and I won't go into those as they usually pertain to off the field issues. In terms of the sport itself in high school coaches should be afforded at least four full years. This will allow the cycle of current players to age out and teach all members of the team rules, expectations and system. For me some teams will never have the Jimmies and the Joes to win. So how do we measure those? For me a team should be better at the end than at the beginning. If a coach demonstrates that their kids continually develop over the course of the season then they should be safe. There are some places you just cannot win consistently. I hope I don't offend anyone in Fulton County but it's impossible to win big there. I don't think both schools combined have over 175 kids. You could be the best coach in America and never win winore than 2 or 3 games. As long as you take care of the kids, instill them with values sports should teach And coach your kids up Nd maximize their abilities you should be allowed to stay for as long as you have the energy because those are what is truly important. Don't get me wrong W's are nice but not everything.
  12. Woodford Co. is poorly coached. Teams load up the box and force them to pass which they cannot do. I'm not surprised by their lack of team success. In high school if I had to pick size or speed I would choose speed every time. Woodford lacks the athletes necessary to compete in big school football. It's been awhile since they've had those type players maybe Shawne Lewis and Trenton Fields????
  13. Peyton Burke ended up with 244 yards and 4 TD's tonight. He may have quietly had the best season of any Lexington QB's.
  14. Their NG kicked tonight and had a couple TB, he did an above average job on kick offs.
  15. Lloyd has some nice pieces. One concern is they got beat deep several times by Harrison Co. Lloyd had way more team speed, that should never happen. Either a breakdown in system or concentration. Lloyd probably had close to 60 dressed and Harrison Co. 40. I feel like Lloyd played more people both ways though. That might be a concern as well. Really impressed by #14 on Loyd, #77 and #5. They will be a tough out.
  16. There is no way PRP was the 9th best team in 6A at any point this year. They have 0 quality wins.
  17. Earlier this year people were panicking about Knox Central after their 1st game against Bryan Station. Knox Central does not have a lot of speed but they are big and tough and can run the football. It'll be interesting to see what they do in the playoffs.
  18. Paul Rains has PLD playing hard if you look at the last 4 weeks. They went 0-4 but Boyle Co., Scott Co., Henry Clay and Bryan Station knew they had been in a battle when it ended. Lafayette may win next week but it won't be easy.
  19. Pretty good. He's more impressive as NG. Harrison Co. Is moving the ball up and down the field. Lloyd is better team.
  20. 30 to12. LMHS. Biggest kicker in the state for Lloyd.
