Lee 68 Jackson City 66
Let me explain, then. They DIDN'T hit their last shot, which left Jackson with 66 points at the end of the game. Lee had 68 points at the end of the game, and paraphrasing the rules, the team with the most points shall win the game. 68 is two more than 66. Lee should win. Jackson couldn't win as 66 is two less than 68.

Most underrated team and most underated player in the 14th?
You going to love me UpnDown, I think Estill is the most underrated team in the region, then Letcher Central. Most underrated player, did anyone besides me notice that Berryman not listed here anywhere? That said, Christopher from Estill is the most underrated, as he gets even less notice than Berryman around the 14th.

Lee 68 Jackson City 66
Jackson is without question one of the best teams in the region, probably the best in the 55th. Lee beat them on their home floor, in front of a partisan Jackson crowd. Not a lot of "ifs" here, guys. Lee played and won a big game. Shots don't fall like they should? That's the object of the game, to put the ball through the hoop. When that doesn't happen enough, you lose. Next time may be different, Lee is not that much better than Jackson, but last night, Jackson COULDN'T have won, they didn't score enough points. They SHOULDN'T have won either, for the same reason.

Lee 68 Jackson City 66
Just caught end of game. Jackson had the ball down one at the end of the game and missed a couple of shots. Hope somebody has details later. I knew it would be close.

Owen Co 74 Trimble Co 41
Neeley can play. Would have been one of top players in 14th. I had heard he might not play at all this year, and I sure am glad to read this news.

Lee 70 Estill 62
Berryman dropping those threes with a hand in his face, getting that shot off in the blink of an eye, and being in the right place at the right time. He is smooth.

Jackson City vs. Lee County at jackson
Charles played for Lee as a freshman last year. He is an excellent shooter, and has led Lee in scoring the past couple of games from off the bench.

Lee 70 Estill 62
Professor, what I saw last night, Berryman is the best player in the District, no ifs, ands or buts!

Lee 70 Estill 62
I don't think there are thirteen better teams than Estill in the region. Who would they be? I just get a kick out of playing what some Coach or the other calls playing the old "iffin" game.

Lee 70 Estill 62
If Ken Brandenburg gets his average, If Caleb Fetters doesn't get 3 fouls in the first four minutes of the second half, if the twins score at their average, if ifs and buts were candy and nuts.....

Jackson City vs. Lee County at jackson
I just hope Lee wins, I sure don''t see a 16 point spread.

Lee 70 Estill 62
Played very heady floor game, but just doesn't have shooting eye yet.

Lee 70 Estill 62
Landon Johnson came up big for Bobcats in 4th quarter. As I have posted in other threads, Estill is good, Christopher and Berryman can fill it up. They will win many district and region games this year.

Jackson City Vs. Magoffin County Predictions
Jackson.

Jackson Co. @Buckhorn (11/30)
I've not seen Buckhorn yet this year, but Jackson County is big, and strong. The Brumbeck (sp?) kid is as tough as they come in the middle. He is six-five and can really dominate the feint of heart. If Buckhorn has the same guys as last year, they definitely are not afraid of physical play, and will get after it, but Jackson County is probably too talented overall, and will probably win.

Lee Co. 67 Jackson Co. 55
I agree with other posters that a)this should not be a big surprise and b) Jackson County is a quality team. This was a good game between two of the top teams in the area, and was closer than the score indicated. Jackson Co. is big and strong. Lee, while not as big, runs the floor, plays hard defense, and shoots the ball well.

Did Romans play?

Wolfe 60 Jackson City 91
Tigers look to be tough again this year. Could be a long one for Wolfe.

Lee Co. 67 Jackson Co. 55
Lee's speed and quickness beats Jackson County's size and strength.

Powell Co vs. Morgan Co. Predictions
Wow. Wish him well.

Neeley ruled eligible for Owen County.
Daniel Neeley can play. I don't know anything at all about Owen County's team, but I am sure they are now much improved. KHSAA made the right decision regarding eligibility here, as Daniel's circumstances are unique. Agreed, Professor?

Powell vs. Lee matchup
I don't think I said Estill would beat anyboy "handily". I hope Lee beats everybody. All I am saying is, underestimate Estill County at your own peril. Powell may be returning 11 players, but I need some convincing after watching them at the end of last season.

Powell vs. Lee matchup
Estill will contend. I believe that Berryman and Christopher are two of the better player's in the 14th. They are most definitely a threat on the 56th, especially as it is at a neutral site, Owsley County, this year. I really don't think anyone will overlook them. They will be at least as good either Lee or Powell, and to say that they can beat either is an understatement.
