Thanks bball fan. I like the new uniforms! I should start a thread to get pictures of teams uniforms from around the state.

This is a good win for Mason County. CPA was undefeated coming into this game and they are a very good team. They compete in the AA division in the state of Tennessee and are coached by former Vanderbilt guard Drew Maddux. They have several players being recruited by division 1 schools. Zackeus Mason is their best player. He is about 6'5" and has been offered from numerous major schools. This past summer the junior forward broke a backboard at a local high school in Nashville. He is a very good HS player. By the box score it looks like Mason County got out to a good start and led for the entire game. Congrats to the Royals!!

Solid win for Coach Rob and his Panthers. I'm looking forward to seeing them play Pendleton County on Thursday.

I think I had mentioned in an earlier post this summer about how underrated of a player this kid is. I played some pickup with him and he can flat out play. He's very athletic for his size and has a good looking shot. Him and Simpson make a good 1-2 combo.

Robin Kelsch is a perfect example of what a high school basketball coach in the state of Kentucky should be like. He loves the game, he's a good coach, he's intelligent, he's very loyal to his school, and he is a great person to know. The Augusta school system schould be very proud to have Rob as their coach. I had the pleasure of attending one of his summer camps last year for a day and was pleased with the way it was ran. Rob is a very good teacher of the game and his teams compete year in and year out with a very, very small crop of players to work with.

During the summer of 2004(Before Elliott arrived to PC), Pendleton County won 27 straight summer games and went 28-1. The only loss was to defending state champion and eventual state runner-up Warren Central at Western Kentucky's team camp. Like Stinger said PC would have been great, but getting Elliott put the icing on the cake.

Congrats to Wildcats!!! They have surprised a lot of people this season. Good Luck at CAL!!

Ballou, a 6'8'' junior, already has surpassed 1,000 points and 500 rebounds. He's getting some D-1 looks. Fudge, a senior guard, runs the team nicely and has a good shooting touch. They should have a good year and compete for the 5th.

Don't be suprised if Adair County makes a good run towards the end of the season.

Whitney Seals is a freshman at Belmont University in Nashville. She was going to redshirt, but a player in front of her injured her knee so Seals might not redshirt now.

I will be attending the game on Friday. Last week Pendleton County lost to Grant County 20-2. The offense did not score. Campbell County beat a pretty good Tates Creek team 28-14. Hopefully PC can keep it competitive for a little while.

Lettered on Varsity for 5 years, starting 4 years. Won 3 consecutive 38th District titles(04-06) and 1 JV District title(02). Won school's 3rd 10th Region tournament(05). Had a record of 77-20 over his last 3 years. An all-region performer his senior year while playing the point.

Mason County will be the top ranked team in state before the season is over.

He mentioned something about having "trouble" with some of the upperclassmen this summer.

I talked to Coach Johnson the other day. He said that his Black Devils will be very young this year. He mentioned that they are probably going to start something like two sophomores and three freshman. They probably will struggle early in the season, but in a weaker district like the 38th(Pendleton, Harrison, Nicholas, Deming) they have a good chance of making the regional tournament for the 3rd consecutive year.
