  1. So the question is Can they build and sustain a quality program? The interest seems to be there. But those are good questions.
  2. Can this area handle another program? Is there support? Can they find the athletes? They sure got off to a good start Saturday with their 7th grade team. Hope they keep building.
  3. I'm sorry I didn't notice the hair
  4. Frances from the looks of your new avatar I'd say you've been working out.
  5. Assuming Rose Hill returns the players from last years team, can anybody show me where they are weak?
  6. Can we get back on topic. We all know this thread will be shut down soon if these types of comments continue, even though the fire was started by an administrator. Even though the schedule is tougher than last year, I don't think it is that hard. I think the Hill will have a winning season and be ready for tournament time. Good luck guys
  7. What really went on?
  8. Hoops#1, your malcontent for Kala has been well documented on this site. But the fact is she has better numbers, and more success than Rayburn. She has played better all round basketball. She is also a great person, who will succeed in life in spite what the coaches of the KABC or yourself think of her character and class. I'll bet it is difficult to function in everyday life with that large chip on your shcoulder.
  9. You don't know what your talking about.
  10. Neither Greenup nor Russell makes it to the finals. Elliot by 12
  11. Ashland doesn't have the horses. Elliott hits their free throws down the stretch. Elliot 74 Ashland 58
  12. Well said Spindoc, I think if players want to know how to act they only need to go to Rose Hill and look at the frame hanging below the scoreboard. You don't have to be an All-American to be a great team player, but you have to be a great team player to be an All-American.
  13. Cubster it is possible that 7 of your top 8 will be in the region, but at least five of the bottom 8 could win. That's what makes March so cool.
  14. St. Joe has a couple of good players. That being said I think RH's youth showed in this game. This was a tough enviorment to play in after a big win. I didn't want to bring up officiating, but it was bad. This is th kind of loss a young team can learn from.
  15. RH got beat in overtime. Not sure about the score, but it was ugly.
  16. You are so right RedBlood. The problem is there is no leadership from the KHSAA in this region. For some reason teams follow the Ashland AD. I think the Ashland supporters would be calling for a change of AD. He is an embarrasment. Ashland is better than that. There needs to be some kind of change.
  17. I agree, the districts should be seeded. The regular season should determine who you play during the year. But you will also agree seeding doesn't ensure that Ashland would schedule RH, remember 2002-2003?
  18. If everybody wants the game to be played, then play it.
  19. Your right. Why schedule a team who caould beat you in your back yard. This way you can allways say your the best. It's like cutting down nets you don't earn.
  20. Boyd Co. has a team to be proud of. Phil Pratt is a class act. Good luck with Fairview.
  21. What is the reason for not scheduling them? I understand RH is not competitive in some sports. But you can't deny they are in basketball. Wouldn't this only make Ashland stronger and more prepared for the districts?
  22. What are you talking about. Rose Hill played Ashland in both boys and girls soccor, girls basketball, baseball, and softball. Facts are the stumbling blocks of propaganda.
