Rose Hill senior Sarah Yates has accepted a partial athletic scholarship to play women's basketball for the Asbury College Lady Eagles. Asbury is a small private school in Wilmore, KY (just south of Lexington) that plays in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

From a proud brother, CONGRATS SARAH!!

Congrats Sarah! :ylsuper:

Congratulations Sarah. :dancingpa :dancingpa

Great job Sarah.

Congratulations to a fine young lady. I've told several people that I don't believe I've ever met a more polite, well-mannered young lady. Sometimes a rare commodity to the degree I speak of in today's student-athletes.

Congrats to Sarah. She is an excellent player and a great person. She got a late invite to the Gatorade All Star game in Hazard but was unable to participate due to a prior commitment. Best of luck to her at Asbury.

As a fine young lady who is a special blessing to all who have ever had the pleasure of knowing her, Sarah is truly first team all-state. Her achievements on the court were substantial but they are far surpassed by her off the court presence and influence.

Congrats to Sarah. Always good to see a young person from the 16th get an opportunity like this. Without knowing (or having even met) her, I'm sure it is well earned, and I'm sure she'll make the most of it.

An excellent addition for Asbury. They have a gem. Good Luck!!!

Very classy young lady, she deserves it.

Congrats!

Way to go, Sarah!

We'll never forget those two huge 3s at Diddle!!

Ditto to everything. Good Luck to a very fine young lady. :ylsuper:

Congrats Sarah! She is a first class person.

Congrats to one of the finest young ladies anywhere. :dancingpa
