  1. I just had to smile when I read this, remembering Hop.
  2. Here is the link for the updated recruit list. Dane is doing a great job recruiting out in Grayson. Most noticiably added - Ron Blume, Tommy Taylor. http://www.kcufootball.com/index_files/page0002.htm
  3. Congrats to Rose Hill on the win, now go out and get another against East Carter!
  4. Congratulations go out to Billy Blanton on becoming a member of the 1000 point club!:dancingpa Billy, Your a wonderful young man with a bright future ahead. You have been a excellant role model for so many. Your the first person my sons met when we we moved to Boyd County and I am so proud that we got to know you, and that they got to learn from you! You are what every student - athlete strives to be. Congratulations Billy! :ylsuper:
  5. Jon, your in our thoughts and our prayers. We wish you a speedy recovery.
  6. Our prayers are on the way for Dick and the Damron family.
  7. Congratulations Emily! This is a wonderful accomplishment for a truely remarkable player and person.
  8. Boyd vs. Knott County Central is cancelled.
  9. Just a side note... I was referring to the student section's rollercoaster ride, when I was referring to them being entertaining. I could not understand what they were chanting most of the time, and now I'm glad I didn't hear them correctly if they were making remarks about a players body size. Making derogitory personal comments about any player on the floor or off is uncalled for.
  10. First of all, I have no idea if the Boyd student section was told to move or not. All I know is that when I arrived at the APB gym during the Freshman game, the second set of bleachers from the door, were already marked "Boyd Student Section". Now as history has it, the Boyd and APB student section always have been directly facing each other, as with any other school who plays APB at APB. By the time that the Boyd student section arrived, during the J.V. game, all of those seats / bleachers that were marked "Boyd Student Section", were already in use by Boyd cheerleader and players parents. So even if APB wanted the Boyd students to move, it would have been impossible to move them to where the APB continguancy had dictated. My question is...Why would the APB administrators, or boosters, or team, or custodians, or cheerleaders, or concession workers, or anyone affliated with APB decide to move the Boyd student section, when traditionally it has always been directly facing the APB student section? Oh, and a quick remark.. "I really enjoyed the APB student cheering section, two :thumb: :thumb: to those students. Everyone of you were very entertaining! The only exception was the GSA taunt (those people were gone 3 years ago, so go track them down and taunt them).
  11. Does anyone know if there will be radio coverage of the game? If so, could someone please post which station will be carrying it. Thanks, in advance for any info.
  12. Boyd County's point guard is C. D. Mayhew. He is a junior, and doing well this season.
  13. Rose Hill, by as many points as Fraley and his boys want.
  14. I don't think anyone is having a problem with Coach Evans or any of the football coaches or the program besides BC Rules. If I remember right, and I could be remembering wrong, when things didn't go the way BC Rules wanted in the baseball season, that's when he brought up fighting and over confidence in that team then. There is always going to be differences of opinion when you put that many players together, but there is nothing that can't be worked out and learned from.
  15. Boyd graduated a few last year. This year they have 21 or 22 seniors, along with a new head coach. Boyd is not as young as is being made out, they do however have a sophomore quarterback. Usually around the Russell time frame, the "I's" and "Me's" take over.
  16. Hello...the game was played last Friday. Boyd already lost, and if Clark is still running well...he may have covered 200 miles by now, and I'd have to say he is pretty tired by now. :jump:
  17. Congrats Brennan! :dancingpa We are all very proud of you, and all of your accomplishments, now go "Get R' Done at Centre!
  18. Congrats Austin! :ylsuper: We are very proud of you, and we are going to miss you on the field!
