Free throw shooting made the difference in the game. The Lady Lions turned 23 Lady Musketeer fouls into 27 points. The Lady Musketeers hit 14 of 24 attempts. Boyd County's bench responded with 16 points. Boyd County's Cassie Scaggs had 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 blocks. Kendra Badgett put in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Kendra was 6 for 7 free throws. Congratulations to the Lady Lions!!!!:ylsuper:

Any news on Chaney? The paper said she went out with a knee injury. Hope it isn't too serious. Congratulations BC on the win.

Tore ACL right knee, after tearing the left 2 yrs. ago. Wonderful young lady, great student, kind of puts sports in perspective. I wish her nothing but a speedy recovery. This one has a special place in my heart.

She is a great kid. She is in all of our prayers here at BGP's!

I hate to hear this for Katie. After fighting her way back from the previous ACL surgery, this just doesn't seem fair. One thing I do know from seeing her play for several years is that she is the ultimate team player. She will do all she can to motivate and "coach" her team from the sidelines. I also hope for her speedy recovery.

Bobbyearl-Thanks for that update on Chaney. She is a very special young lady, wish her a speedy recovery. That is a tough injury. I'll keep her in my prayers.

That is just terrible for Katie and for the Lady Lions. She is definitely a team leader and gives her all at each and every game. She will be missed on the court. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family from the Lady Rams and all in Ramland.

I hate to hear this about any kid, prayers go out from this oldrambler and the Raceland crew for Miss Chaney.

From a Lady Royal fan...you have always been one I would rather have on my team than to have to play against.

Best wishes for a full recovery and for you to make the most out of this time when character and maturity are developed.

A tough break for her. Like everyone posting in this thread, I hope she gets through it with no delays.

Katie is put in the category of "warrior". Always puts the team first. Good luck to her in her rehab.
