Heard that Lex Cath is already working to have Trinity, X, Highlands, and Cov Cath for non district games

Caldwell is the most talented and most explosive. Bovard is the most polished. Both are incredible HS recivers.

If a player gets kicked out of a scrimage (1st or 2nd), does he by rule, have to sit out the next regular season game? If it happens in the first scrimage, must he sit out the second? Can he play in the second and sit out the season opener?

Heard from someone close to Cov. Cath say that there is some talk that if Lex Cath stays 4A, that Cov Cath would petition to go to 6A, to have less complaining about private schools and the "R" word, if the three top classes were won by private schools.

The Kentucky Football Coaches list serve has been a place to give and recieve information of this topic for nearly two years. There were staements to the point that if you had any concerns, contact your representative. Any coach that claims ignorance only has himself to blame.

The 6 class idea has been talked about long enough, that if a coach at a certian school claims ignorance, its thier own fault. Just because there wasn't a large amount of attention on these types of changes until the attempted split, doesn't mean that the coaches association hasn't been worknig at the six class idea for the last couple of years. Remember, the split vote was done by member schools of the KHSAA, not the football coaches. Some people I believe are getting the source of six classes confused.

Any argument to classify baseball must also include an argument to classify basketball, which in this state will never happen.

Revere's throw from center was as good a play as I have seen in hs baseball in 20 years.

If you want to improve your 40, first work on the pro shuttle. If you develop the quickness, that will only help improve your stride frequency as Mountian Thunder points out. Plus, in Football, some coaches like a very good shuttle time with a decent 40.

Only reason enrollment won't get to 4A level is there is no more space in the school. If addidtions are made to the building, then enrollment will rise.

Just wondering what you think your teams toughest stretch of games would be, at least on paper. I'll cheat a little by offering Lex. Caths opening stretch to include scrimages. PRP(scr.)-@Trinity(scr.)-@St. X-Scott Co. to start the season. New coaches and new qb may have a baptisim by fire.

Does anyone have a "Drumline" type of HS band?

If you have limited Practice/Playing space such as Lexington Catholic, Field Turf is a must. Soccer, Football, Baseball, Softball, and Lacross all use parts of the field for practice and Games. The Baseball and Football fields actually share an end zone and out to near the 30 yard line. Having the turf in has allowed the building to expand, where the newer gym and Fine Arts center are now located.

Revere has so much speed, he's too fast to stop at second. He may have over 10 triples so far this year.

If you saw the game, you would know Haddix did not catch a single ball when coverd by Revere.

Whoever lines up opposite of Ben Revere this year will get a lot of opportunites to make plays. In 15 games last year, Ben was only thrown at 23 times.

LC had more points off turnovers in the first half than Mercy had total points. Add to that the fact that Mercy couln't hit thier shots (near 20%), they couldn't get in the game

The fact that Stevenson is able to play with a torn knee ligament (ACL?) helps any problems LC had with depth (yeah, like you need it with the players they have). If another school could have kept close to LC and tried to wear them down, it may have been a factor. Of course, any of this was dependent on LC not showing up and playing
