This also consist of the health program, that kentucky department t of education has standards that are to be addressed in classes. Wonder if the band director/ para professional coaches are up to date on KDE standards for Physical education?

Would assume they would only get one credit. Really interesting since Ky. has one of the highest rates of childhood obesity in the nation. Guess the students will get a good workout of fine motor skills while they type on the computer.

Bellevue middle/high school will not have a health/physical education program starting next school year according to the new Bellevue superintendent . The money used for that program will go toward other things. Super says that if you play a sport or are in band that you will get a PE credit and if not involved in either of those you will get your PE credit on line

Yep that sounds about right, been happening for about the last 8 to 10 years just more people realize it now. Sometimes it don't even take a coach having a "bad" season for it to happen. Sometimes it's a administer having a buddy that needs a job and you out or " little Jimmy " got his feelings hurt and daddy has some money so he tells administration to get rid of that coach and he will give the school some money.

One thing is for certain, there are a few people "loyal" to this thread. Good grief.

Tony Saylor at Rock castle, he has been retired a couple of years but he still has his finger prints on the Rock defense.

Alec Hazeres ended his career with 19 total fumble recoveries. His little brother Adam had 4 fumble recoveries and 2 Int. Bellevue as a team had 19 interceptions and 21 fumble recoveries for a total of 40 caused turnovers.

Was you at the game? Do you know what type of range that the North Oldham kicker has? Do you even know where the ball was or the situation on 4th down? North had 2 timeouts left according to the scoreboard. So if they wanted to go for it on 4th down they could have gotten it called another time out and made the kick closer or maybe even scored a touchdown. The ball ended up on the 22 yard line after the 3rd down play and also more toward the hash. Owensboro jumped off sides moving it to the 17 making it a 34 yard Field goal instead of a 39 yard try. The kick was a low line drive from that distance that didn't clear by much, so a 39 yard kick may have been lower and could have been blocked and ran back for a touchdown. So Coach Martin could have thinking that. People should know the whole story before they make commrnts. These are 16 and 17 year old kids, not the college and NFL kickers you watch on TV each weekend. Great season Coach Martin and the rest of the North Oldham Mustangs. You took over a program that less than 10 years ago everyone wanted to schedule for homecoming and had it one fluke play away from the 4A state championship. Coach Martin and his wife treat each one of these kids as if they were their very own. Hold your head high Ole friend. GO MUSTANGS!!!!!

Also has 46 career QB sacks in 3 years playing defensive line. That's pretty good too.

Last week Alec Hazeres a 5'5 135 pound senior nose guard from Bellevue high school had 2 fumble recoveries. With those 2 recoveries that runs Alec career total to 17 fumble recoveries and that breaks Darrell Hedges of Berea state record total of 16 set in 2000. Congrats to Alec, this is a huge accomplishment.
