Hey scooterbob, I'm just wondering do you have something personal against McDavid? It's just kind of a feeling I get? I could be wrong?...
-
Ashland had a tough time scoring last night. Thomas and McDavid were really the only ones that could score. Vanhoose and Clark played well. I think thats the first time Clark has ever made more than one three in his life lol! ..but a GREAT athlete. I think that both of these teams potentially have a chance of winning the region, and both have a chance of not even getting to the regional tournament. The 16th is crazy this year. It will be intersting to see how it ends up.

JC20, Ashland should be just as solid a ballclub as they were last year. They return a lot of players on defense including two all state players. If junior to be qb Darrell Mahan can step up and take the qb postion than they can leave wr Drew McDavid at wr, and they will still have Thomas and Davis in the backfield. Either way the tomcats should be a legitimate contendor for the district title next yr! :ylsuper: :jump:

Top Post Players You Have Seen this Year
Tomcats7 replied to thepeopleschamp's topic in KY Boys Basketball (High School)
McDavid is not really a post player...he just plays inside because that is what Ashland needs him to do. His natural postion is a 3 man. :thumb: -
There is no way that JCHS has more talent returning than Ashland in my opionion. They have 2 returning all state players and I look for Matt Thomas to have a breakout yr. this year too! :dancingpa

How many rebounds did each player have? anybody know? -
Blume was basically JC's whole offense last year. I doubt Johson will be able to do the same kind of dammage Blume did just running up the middle...theres no way. :jump:

Stick, No way that JCHS should be favored over Ashland! Ashland has way more talent returning than JC. I'd say it should be 1.Ashland 2.Lawrence 3.JC  :dancingpa

Who's the team to beat in the mountains in 06
Tomcats7 replied to Rock Boss's topic in KY Football (High School)
Ashland should definelty be the top pick in the district. They have the most talent of anyone returning, especially on D with Davis, McDavid, Bonner, Gallaher, etc... they will be the team to beat.. AGAIN! :thumb: -
Whoops ..sorry my bad Goliath

I'll take Ashland in this one! 64- 59. Thomas and McDavid take care of business against the eagles

Who are the top Linebackers in Eastern Ky next season?
Tomcats7 replied to Oldcat95's topic in KY Football (High School)
Fields Davis .....he is a tackling machine! -
Ashland is definelty the favorite in the district for 06. I would say Lawrence is second, then JCHS is a distant 3rd.

I don't think anyone would EVER see Thomas at QB, even know he has good speed, IMO, just a great back an soon to develop from the beatings he's took this season! I see Matt doing some damage next football season!

Mahan moved from Greenup to Ashland in the middle of may, and was enrolled at Blazer the last day of school for him, he really likes Ashland he says! :dancingpa
