I'm pretty sure Trinity also had a sophmore LB that was pretty good. It will be interesting to see how well he does next year.

I unfortunately was not as familiar with some of our younger players. I am glad to hear that though, returning an experienced defense makes me a happy camper.

How much are these guys lifting???

Kasey Clark- AAstate championship player of the game.

Jacob SizeMore- Big hitter onD and a great receiver. :fire:

Tyler Jones- blocked punt in championship game and had a INT.

Dwain Evans- Kicker EXP

Jason Dolly- Kicker -kickoff.

Josh Wills- Guard just to name a few.

Well as I count it we have 17 returners that played in the AA championship game.

Yea I think we are looking good for next year.

Williamsburg will have a pretty good senior class led by Chase Hamblin at reciever ( led class A in receptions and named all Southeast Kentucky Conference receiver of the year and 1st team all district), Linebacker Aaron Root ( 167 total tackles and 20 for loss, all district 1st team, Linebacker of the year Southeast Kentucky Conference), Qb Thomas Frazier (All SEKC, 2nd team all district), and AJ Jusino ( all SEKC and 2nd team all district). The future looks bright for the Jackets if they can stay healthy and develop depth.

At Somerset we return, Ross Deaton, John Cole, Kenny Hughes, Cam Jones, and 4 or 5 starters from the o-line d-line standpoint. Should be a good year at the Briar Patch assuming that everyone stays healthy and get the work done in the weightroom!

I believe the LB your speaking of is Weitlauf who is a sophmore this year. He had a big impact this year and I am sure will do the same next year...as well he will be joined by Sr. (next year) Larry Taugher who is definitely a player at the LB position. Luke McDermott will be back again on Defense making a huge impact. Nick P. will be loaded for receiver options again...with Kyle Flynn, the Dutton twins, Nick Mellilo, Will Stein as a few of his favorite targets. The T offensive line will be back - bigger, stronger and faster....Almost all of the players that aren't wrestling or playing b-ball are already back in the weight room (and even those guys lift - just not the same routine). As well there are several other key players from this years team that return in the skill positions and a few Sophmore's to be that have a lot of promise for making a contribution in 2006.

We're returning all but Andrew Massingale on the o-line/d-line this year. Junior Aaron Jones (2nd team all-county, 2nd team all-district, all SEKC) returns at center and noseguard, Junior Westley Howard (1st team all-county, 1st team all-district, all SEKC) returns at DT. The offensive line is full of workhorses. Senior Derek Stevenson returns, who had an explosive Junior season. Also Senior Will Pope returns at WR to give the new Junior Chase Jones QB, a target to throw to.

When did the Class A District 7 come out? Does anyone have a link?

Not sure when it came out and don't have a link, just know that my info came from coaching staff. Of course, SEKC is out and was in Corbin Paper yesterday.
