I believe Newport is returning its two strongest from the football team this past year... Junior to be Devon Boxx and Senior to be Curtis Marshall... not sure if they are the strongest in the school though

Corbin Redhounds are returning Sean Nolan(sophomore), Clint Cashen(soph), Rob Madon(soph), Blake Freeman(junior), CJ Light(soph). This is their class status for this year. Should be a lot stronger with more experience next year.

Kasey Clark- AAstate championship player of the game.

Jacob SizeMore- Big hitter onD and a great receiver. :fire:

Tyler Jones- blocked punt in championship game and had a INT.

Dwain Evans- Kicker EXP

Jason Dolly- Kicker -kickoff.

Josh Wills- Guard just to name a few.

Well as I count it we have 17 returners that played in the AA championship game.

Yea I think we are looking good for next year.

mickey brown is another...he is quick as a cat

South Laurel returns: Ricky Bowling QB, Ty Proffitt WR, Cody Quinn RB/DB and Phillip Hibbard OL/DL, as their best returnees from 2005, ... unless of course the basketball coaches convince Hibbard to give up football

North Laurel returns: Shawn Asher WR/S, Ryan Brandenburg LB/FB, Chris Maggard RB/LB and Cameron Lee DL/OL as their best returnees from 2005

When did the Class A District 7 come out? Does anyone have a link?

BTW LC99... heard also that Chafin ended up as District player of the year on offense...

How much are these guys lifting???

Are you tlking about the best returning players, or the strongest returning players?

Are you tlking about the best returning players, or the strongest returning players?

Let's go ahead and say both.

At GRCHS , Robell Rogers and Tristian Jones.

At GRCHS , Robell Rogers and Tristian Jones.

Two big key players will be 6`2 225 Clint Greene and 5`11 200lb Brandon McCaffery, and Conner`s. some people forget that two of the best players on the team last year, and the fastest were Skinner and Hudson, the only reason Roger`s was the leading rusher, was because he was put ahead of Skinner and Greene, Iam not dissing Roger`s , It`s just that ClarK Co, had aload of backs, who ever PC, picked to carrie the rock, would end up being the top in yards not the best on the team, And like one coach once said, and I Quote, [if you got five star`s on your team why not let them all shine] in of Quote. But you are right, RedRage, Jone`s and Roger`s will help out alot next year.

Tyler Cable and John Johnson should be by far the strongest players on the Shelby Valley team next season,Tyler was probably, pound for pound, one of the strongest on the team this past year with the only exception being Zack Mullins.

Holmes Bulldogs

QB - Duran Jefferson

LB - Justin Young

RB - Rodney Covington, Rashad Palmer, Mike Covington

WR - Austin Hill

DL - Thomas Benton, Zack Jennings

Leslie will be returning a strong, but young offensive line. A standout, James Mosley, benches 300 and is just a sophomore :scared:

Somersets strongest player will be Michael Hager,, he may have been the strongest player on this year's team but he is a hoss. Great potential for this young man. Work hard Mike and be the best!!

Boyd County's best returning players:

Seniors:

OL/DE Nate Wilson

RB Joey White

OL/DL Josh Bryant

OL/DL Michael Hunt

Juniors:

RB/WR Gatlin Barker

TE Justin Selby

FB/DL Ryan Crisp

Sophmores:

QB/DB Zak Wilson

RB/LB Zack Miller

RB/LB Chase Miller

No disrespect to anyone that I left out, these are only the players that I am knowledgeable about.

Good luck to the Lions in 06.

Hibbard give up football NOWAY.....he loves the game . I wish him luck in basketball coach Wright says he improves with every game . He has a bright future ahead of him.
